MILLER — Ipswich’s Madisyn Gellhaus and Miller’s Pierce Baumberger won individual titles at Monday’s Miller Invitational at the Miller Country Club. 

Gellhaus covered the 5,000-meter course in 21 minutes and :08 seconds, ahead of James Valley Christian’s Hadasah Olson (21:22) and Highmore-Harrold’s Autumn Fallis (21:32). Potter County’s Dannika Kaup (21:48) and Miller’s Madeline Nye (21:58) rounded out the top-five. 

Baumberger won with a time of 18:07, ahead of McLaughlin’s Wamni Kills Crow (18:15) and James Valley Christian’s Dax Frandsen (18:23). Faulkton Area’s Korbin Stark (18:23) and James Valley Christian’s Kaden Ober (18:24) rounded out the top-five finishers.

The James Valley Christian girls won the team title with 13 points, ahead of Ipswich (25) and Potter County (27). The James Valley Christian  boys won the team title with 16 points, ahead of North Central (22) and Faulkton Area (32).
