Winner 55, Gregory 48 

WINNER — Winner held off Gregory for a boys basketball win on Monday.

Winner’s Aiden Barfuss scored 20 points. Zac Olson scored 10 points. Shawn Hammerbeck had nine points and 10 rebounds. Ryder Halligan and Carter Craven scored eight points apiece. Craven had nine rebounds. 

Gregory’s Daniel Mitchell tossed in 18 points and grabbed five rebounds. Noah Bearshield scored 13 points. Cruz Klundt had seven points.


Hamlin 71, Castlewood 47

CASTLEWOOD — Class A No. 2 Hamlin buried 11 first-half 3-pointers en route to a boys basketball win over Class B No. 3 Castlewood on Monday.

Hamlin’s Jackson Wadsworth scored 17 points and nailed five 3-pointers. Evan Stormo scored 15 points, while Easton Neuendorf added 14 points. Tyson Stevenson scored 12 points. Zac VanMeeteran had seven points. 

Castlewood’s Lane Tvedt netted 17 points, while Luke Baumberger had 11 points. Bryon Laue added nine points and Bowen Ryan scored six points. 


De Smet 54, Canistota 36

CANISTOTA — Class B No. 4 De Smet used a 20-2 fourth quarter to secure a boys basketball win over Canistota on Monday.

De Smet’s George Jensen finished with 17 points, while Tom Aughenbaugh posted 12 points. Kadyn Fast had eight points and Grant Wilkinson scored seven points. Trace VanRegenmorter added five points and 10 rebounds. 

Canistota’s Tage Ortman netted 23 points and grabbed five rebounds. Jaden Kleinsasser had six points and six rebounds. Brandon Kjetland and Jackson Brown had six rebounds apiece.


Mobridge-Pollock 65, Timber Lake 41

MOBRIDGE —  Three players scored in double-figures as Mobridge-Pollock picked up a win over Timber Lake in boys basketball action Monday. 

Jackson Eisemann led Mobridge-Pollock with 19 points while adding three rebounds, two assists and two steals. Unique White Twin finished with 14 points and Michael Wald chipped in with 11 points, six rebounds and six steals. 

Cole Ducheneaux led Timber Lake with 13 points. Kyler Bollinger added seven points and eight rebounds for Timber Lake. Aiden Rough Surface scored six points. 


Chester 53, Colman-Egan 51

CHESTER — Jovi Wolf and Layke Wold combined for 31 points to pace Chester to a boys basketball win on Monday.

Wolf finished with 16 points and Wold added 15 points. 

Colman-Egan’s Jase Mousel logged 21 points and Jackson Zwart scored 11 points. Zwart had 10 rebounds. 


Centerville 61, Sioux Falls Lutheran 53

CENTERVILLE — Centerville pulled past Sioux Falls Lutheran for a boys basketball win on Monday.

Centerville’s Miles Eide finished with 16 points. Aiden Bobzin had 12 points, three rebounds and three steals. Covin Wattier and Corbin Tople scored eight points apiece. Cole Edberg had seven points and Brennan Tople scored six points.

Sioux Falls Lutheran’s Muoch Jud had 20 points. Jakob Stubkjaer had 14 points and Rowen Becker scored 10 points.


Corsica-Stickney 59, Bon Homme 32

CORSICA — A big night from Tyson Wentland helped Corsica-Stickney run past Bon Homme in boys basketball action Monday.

Wentland posted a double-double of 31 points and 13 rebounds. Carter Wright chipped in with eight points for Corsica-Stickney.

Jace Toupal scored 12 points to lead Bon Homme.
