Stanley County 52, Todd County 46

MISSION — Stanley County clipped Todd County for a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Stanley County’s 

Broch Zeeb and Eddie Duffy scored 19 points apiece. Duffy nailed five 3-pointers. Paxton Deal scored 11 points. 

Todd County’s Oniya Whirlwind Soldier scored 12 points and Ty Valandra added 10 points. Kendrik Easter recorded nine points, while Wakiyan Sa Selwyn had six points. Chris Ellert had five points. 


Canistota 48, Viborg-Hurley 47

CANISTOTA — Canistota edged Class B No. 1 Viborg-Hurley for a boys basketball win on Tuesday. 

Canistota’s Tage Ortman finished with 20 points, eight assists, four rebounds and four 3-pointers. Brandon Kjetland added 19 points and nine rebounds. Jaden Kleinsasser had seven points. 

Viborg-Hurley’s Nick Hanson finished with 22 points and four rebounds. Nolan Kolthoff had nine points, while Braydyn Morrison had five points. 


Mobridge-Pollock 57, Cheyenne-Eagle Butte 53 

MOBRIDGE — Mobridge-Pollock edged Cheyenne-Eagle Butte for a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Mobridge-Pollock’s Michael Wald recorded 19 points, while Kale Knudson had 18 points. Simon Fried and Shane Henderson scored eight points apiece. Henderson added seven rebounds. 

CEB’s Dayson Kennedy finished with 17 points, while Braxton Kennedy had 12 points and seven rebounds. Nehemiah Veaux logged eight points and five rebounds. Levi Elk Nation had six points and seven rebounds. 


Winner 45, Miller 33 

WINNER — Three players scored in double figures to pace Winner to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Winner’s Shawn Hammerbeck had 18 points and 10 rebounds. Carter Craven finished with 14 points and nine rebounds. Aiden Barfuss logged 10 points, four assists and four rebounds. 

Miller’s Alex Schumacher scored nine points and grabbed four rebounds. Derek Brueggeman had eight points, while Gentry Harrell scored six points. 


Kimball-White Lake 52, Colome 45

WHITE LAKE — Blake Leiferman powered Kimball/White Lake to a boys basketball win on Tuesday. 

Leiferman finished with 20 points and 19 rebounds. Hudson Heath had 12 points and seven rebounds. Nathan Mohnen logged five points and four steals.

Colome’s Joseph Laprath posted 14 points. Seth Heath logged 13 points, while Jack Anderson had 10 poitns and 13 rebounds. Jonah Musser had 10 rebounds.

Wagner 50, Hanson 47 

ALEXANDRIA — Wagner edged Hanson for a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Wagner’s Joey Cournoyer finished with 13 points, while Preston McFadden had 12 points. 

Hanson’s Jayce Slaba scored 23 points and Sutton Dewald added nine points. 


Lower Brule 56, Crow Creek 49 

STEPHAN — Three players scored in double figures to pace Lower Brule to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Lower Brule’s Quentin McBride Jr., scored 22 points, while Lane Gray had 15 points. Payton Palmier had 13 points.

Crow Creek’s Oscar Walking Bull had 15 points. Lance Wind scored 12 points. 


Bridgewater-Emery 54, Colman-Egan 49 

COLMAN — Bridgewater-Emery held off Colman-Egan for a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

BE’s Ben Weber finished with 20 points, 10 rebounds and five assists. Camdyn Stoterau had 15 points, three 3-pointers and three rebounds. Jase Kayser had seven points and eight rebounds. Holden Wollmann and Macklen Weber scored six points apiece. Wollmann added five rebounds and five assists. 

CE’s Jase Mousel recorded 19 points and 10 rebounds. Jackson Zwart had 14 points and four rebounds. Jack Mousel added 10 points and six rebounds. Jackson Wright added six rebounds. 


Avon 59, Menno 33 

AVON — Landon Thury powered Avon to a boys basketball win over Menno on Tuesday.

Thury erupted for 35 points and 12 rebounds. Aziah Meyer had nine points, while Jaime Pelton had six points and 13 rebounds. 


James Valley Christian 71, Hitchcock-Tulare 53

HITCHCOCK — Isaac Korell and Jerrad Wallman scored 21 points apiece to pace James Valley Christian to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Korell nailed six 3-pointers. Davis Chase and Tayne Herrmann had nine points apiece. Dax Frandsen scored six points.

HT’s Jackson Maynard scored 17 points and Erik Salmen had 14 points. Patrick Maynard posted 10 points and Brendon Nowell had six points. 


Faulkton Area 44, Warner 34

FAULKTON — Three players scored in double figures to pace Faulkton Area to a boys basketball win over Warner on Tuesday.

Faulkton Area’s Trey Machtemese logged 14 points and five rebounds. Layne Cotton had 13 points, while Gian DiMaria posted 10 points and four rebounds. Spencer Melius scored five points.

Warner’s Brodey Sauerwein finished with 10 points and five rebounds. Gavin Lane had nine points, seven rebounds and three 3-pointers. Drew Bakeberg added seven points and six rebounds. Zach Evans had five points and 13 rebounds. 


Parkston 62, McCook Central/Montrose 47

SALEM — Three players scored in double figures to pace Parkston to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Parkston’s Luke Bormann finished with 17 points, six rebounds and four steals. James Deckert and Payton Koehn scored 13 points apiece. Koehn added eight rebounds. Elliott Leischner had eight points and eight rebounds. Brycen Bruening had five points. 

MCM’s Lane Deutsch finished with 12 points, all on four 3-pointers. Owen Alley recorded 10 poitns and six rebounds. Mason Sabers and Jackson Schmidt logged seven points apiece. Ben Wiebersick had six points. 


Chester 66, Parker 35

CHESTER — Three players scored in double figures to pace Chester to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Chester’s Jovi Wolf had 25 points, while Layke Wold added 21 points, eight assists and seven rebounds. Jaxton Opdahl scored 11 points. 

Parker’s Ray Travnicek logged 17 points. 


Howard 73, Irene-Wakonda 35 

HOWARD — Howard coasted past Irene-Wakonda for a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Howard’s Kolt Koepsell finished with 26 points, while Luke Koepsell added 14 points. Logan Mentele had 12 points and Carson Hinker finished with eight points.

Irene-Wakonda’s Brody Johnke finished with 14 points, while Jens Hansen scored six points. 


Freeman 67, Scotland 40

FREEMAN — Freeman pulled away from Scotland for a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Freeman’s Rocky Ammann finished with 13 points, eight rebounds, three steals and three blocked shots. Tate Sorensen had 12 points. Luke Peters posted 10 points. Luke Miller had seven points and four rebounds. Chris Aasen had five points and five rebounds. Sawyer Wipf added five points, three rebounds and three steals. 

Scotland stats were not reported. 


Elkton-Lake Benton 55, Deuel 47 

ELKTON — Elkton-Lake Benton held off Deuel for a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

ELB’s Colt Beck finished with 19 points, three rebounds and three assists. Carson Griffith posted 10 points and six rebounds. Tanner Drietz had nine points and five rebounds. Blake DeVries had seven rebounds, while Tanner Stein had five rebounds.

Deuel’s Troy Jenson and Gabe Sather had 14 points apiece. Trey Maaland added 10 points. Robert Begalka posted six points. 


Sioux Falls Roosevelt 56, Huron 52

HURON — Class AA No. 4 Sioux Falls Roosevelt clipped Huron for a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Roosevelt’s Hayden Goff logged 19 points and four assists. Jamre Tiger had 12 points, all on 3-pointers. Tiger added four rebounds. Isaiah Garang had eight poitns, while Akeem Moko had six points and five boards. Naser Ismail had nine points and seven rebounds. 

Huron’s Blake Ellwein finished with 23 points and four rebounds. Anderson Porisch had 12 points and five rebounds. C.J. Gainey had 10 points. Trace Wenz logged five points, while Colton McNeil added five assists and four rebounds.
