Lennox 72, Platte-Geddes 42

PLATTE — Class A No. 5 Lennox picked up a 30-point boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Lennox’s Aiden Hanssen finished with 20 points and hit four 3-pointers. Drake Mikkelsen added 12 points. Teegan Musser logged nine points, while Tate Gerdes had seven points. Talen Eich recorded six points. 

For Platte-Geddes, Hayden Sprik logged 14 points and three 3-pointers. Tommy Nelson and Braxton Breukelmann had seven points apiece. Isaac Leader scored five points. 


Stanley County 66, Highmore-Harrold 46

FORT PIERRE — Stanley County pulled away from Highmore-Harrold for a Tuesday boys basketball victory.

Stanley County’s Paxton Deal finished with 21 points. Eddie Duffy added 19 points and drilled five 3-pointers. Kaden Montana had 10 points.

For Highmore-Harrold, Miles McPeak recorded 22 points. Aidan Ferens and Brooks McPeak scored eight points apiece. 


Mobridge-Pollock 72, Potter County 56

MOBRIDGE — Three players scored in double figures as Mobridge-Pollock pulled away from Potter County for a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Mobridge-Pollock’s Shane Henderson finished with 21 points, while Shooter Frederick added 18 points. Kale Knudson posted 14 points. Jackson Eisemann scored nine points and Easton Eisemann had six points. 

For Potter County, Landon Larson recorded 20 points and Jhett Simon scored 10 points. Jack Simon added nine points. 


Castlewood 56, Flandreau 28

CASTLEWOOD — Three players scored in double figures to power Class B No. 1 Castlewood to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Castlewood’s Jamison Keszler finished with 20 points, while Brody Bass had 14 points. Bryon Laue scored 12 points. Kamden Keszler logged five points.

For Flandreau, Luke Sheppard finished with 10 points. 


Sioux Falls Christian 65, West Central 48

HARTFORD — Class A No. 1 Sioux Falls Christian used a balance scoring attack to pick up a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Sioux Falls Christian’s Griffin Goodbary and Cooper Goodbary finished with 12 points apiece. Bennett Wassenaar added 11 points and Jude vanDonkersgoed scored nine points.

For West Central, Connor Mebius recorded 12 points and five assists. Will Kuhl added 12 points, six blocks and four rebounds. Carter Tetzlaff and Boche Knight scored six points apiece. Kolte Garry had five boards. 



Dakota Valley 76, Sergeant Bluff-Luton (Iowa) 48

NORTH SIOUX CITY — Three players scored in double figures as Class A No. 3 Dakota Valley ran past Sergeant Bluff-Lufton (Iowa) in Tuesday night basketball action. 

Logan Collette led Dakota Valley with 21 points, nine rebounds and four assists. Luke Bruns added 19 points, four rebounds, six assists and three steals. Tatum Sorenson finished with 10 points and Drew Lukken added eight points and seven rebounds. 

Ajay Vanderschaaf led Sergeant Bluff-Lufton (Iowa) with 16 points. Kylen Vandenshaaf and Brauilo Gonzalez each scored 10 points. 


Dell Rapids St. Mary 81, Garretson 66

GARRETSON — Maverick LeBrun and Trevon Beckman powered Class B No. 2 Dell Rapids St. Mary to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

LeBrun finished with 43 points, while Beckman added 22 points. 

Garretson stats were not reported. 


Tea Area 60, Sioux City North (Iowa) 55

SIOUX CITY, Iowa — Three players scored in double figures as Tea Area held off Sioux City North (Iowa) in boys basketball action on Tuesday.

Grifin Wiebenga finished with 17 points, 11 rebounds and five assists. Jaxson Merrigan had 16 points and eight rebounds. Gavin Shawd posted 13 points and seven rebounds. Marshall Smythe had six points.


Leola/Frederick Area 80, Wilmot 47

FREDERICK — Three players scored in double figures as Class B No. 4 Leola/Frederick Area improved to 6-0 with a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Noah Kippley led the way with 20 points, while Westyn Thorpe added 16 points. Ethan Petrich scored 12 points. Gavin Nickelson recorded nine points, while Milo Sumption had eight points. Winston Clark scored six points.

For Wilmot, Ethan Schwenn finished with 10 points. Keitrick Genia and Jaxen Dockter had eight points apiece. Maddux Foss scored five points.  


Freeman 66, Irene-Wakonda 63 

FREEMAN — Four players scored in double-figures as Freeman won Tuesday’s game against Irene-Wakonda in boys basketball action. 

David Walter paced Freeman with 18 points and 10 rebounds. Tate Sorensen finished with 14 points, seven rebounds, an assist and two steals. Chris Aasen added 12 points and Luke Peters chipped in with 10 points. 

Freshman Hayden Hansen led all scorers with 21 points. Jens Hansen and Cain Healy each scored 17 points for Irene-Wakonda.


Bridgewater-Emery 57, Sanborn Central/Woonsocket 45

EMERY — Bridgewater-Emery pulled away from Sanborn Central/Woonsocket for a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

BE’s Ben Weber had 21 points, while Jaxon Koch netted 15 points. 

SCW’s McCoy Schulz finished with 15 points and eight rebounds. Landon Jensen had nine points, while Grant Edwards had seven points and five steals. Bryce Larson grabbed six rebounds and dished out four assists. Evan Easton had six points. 


St. Thomas More 69, Belle Fourche 21

BELLE FOURCHE — St. Thomas More used a balanced scoring attack to pick up a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

STM’s Declan Duffy scored 12 points on four 3-pointers. Baron Slusarski had 10 points, while Ashton Paulsen finished with nine points. Broeden Sales had eight points. Max Speed and Ryan Neugebauer scored seven points apiece. Noah Wald scored five points.

For Belle Fourche, Sern Weishaar scored nine points. Emitt Lipp posted eight points. 


Corsica-Stickney 60, Mount Vernon/Plankinton 48

CORSICA — Tyson Wentland recorded a double-double as Corsica-Stickney picked up a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Wentland finished with 29 points and 11 rebounds. Jarrett Olawsky added 19 points and seven rebounds. Brock Hinker had five rebounds.

For MVP, Tyce Feistner had 13 points. 


Kadoka Area 65, White River 55

KADOKA — Kadoka Area held off White River for a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Kadoka Area’s Kole Hermann finished with 23 points and five boards. Dalton Grimes added 11 points, while Gus Stout had nine points and seven rebounds. Maxx Richardson recorded eight points and six boards. Riley Running Enemy scored seven points. Karson Eisenbraun added six rebounds and four points.  

For White River, Bryson One Star and Teagen Bouman scored 23 points apiece. Bouman grabbed five rebounds. Riley Bouman added five points and five boards. 


Parkston 45, Hanson 39

ALEXANDRIA — Parkston outlasted Hanson for a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Hanson's Ben Wilber finished with 18 points and nine rebounds. A.J. Wilber had seven points and 11 boards. Sutton Dewald had six points. 

For Parkston, James Deckert had 15 points and six rebounds. Brycen Bruening recorded 10 points, eight rebounds and six assists. Grady Bowar had nine points, while Reco Muilenburg scored five points and had eight rebounds. Elliot Leischner had eight rebounds. Mason Jervik had six boards. 


Winner 46, Chamberlain 28

WINNER — Carter Craven and Shawn Hammerbeck combined for 32 points as Winner picked up a win over Chamberlain in boys basketball action Tuesday. 

Craven scored 17 points, 13 in the second half while adding eight rebounds and two assists to his Tuesday night totals. Hammerbeck scored 15 points and added eight rebounds for the Warriors. 

Braxton Harrison led Chamberlain with seven points and three rebounds. Josiah Vaad added six points for the Cubs. 


Elk Point-Jefferson 63, Canistota 39

ELK POINT — Three players scored in double digits as Elk Point-Jefferson defeated Canistota in Tuesday boys basketball action.

EPJ’s Landon Johnsen finished with 16 points and eight rebounds. Ashton Fairbanks added 13 points, nine steals and five rebounds. Aiden Hammitt added 10 points and four rebounds. Grayson Girard had eight points and seven boards. Brody VanRoekel added seven points. Nicholas Schmitz scored five points.

For Canistota, Jaden Kleinsasser recorded 12 points and 10 boards. Brady Scott added 10 points, five rebounds and four steals. Easton Miller scored five points. 


Milbank 56, Britton-Hecla 43

BRITTON — Milbank pulled away late to earn a win over Britton-Hecla in boys basketball action Tuesday. 

Sam Rick led the Bulldogs with 24 points and was aided by double figure scoring (12) from Graham Lightfield. Jeter Scouler added seven points while Emmett Hanson and Estaban Abrego each finished with four points. 

Graham Fodness and Daniel Person each scored 11 points. Jaxon Zuehlke added 10 points for the Braves.
