Winner/Colome 10, Redfield Post 92 5

GREGORY — Winner/Colome used a six-run sixth inning to pull away from Redfield Post 92 for a win at the Class B Legion baseball tournament on Sunday. Winner/Colome will play Gregory on Monday. 

Justin Hausmann earned the win for Winner/Colome, allowing two runs on four hits and striking out three in his 5 â…“ inning start.

Aiden Barfuss, Ethan Bartels, and Ashton Klein each had two hits to lead Winner/Colome. Adam Bohnet led with three RBI, while Barfuss and Joey Cole drove in two runs apiece. Klein and Pierce Nelson added one RBI each. Barfuss had one home run in the sixth inning.

Keaton Rohlfs took the loss for Redfield, allowing five hits and four runs in three innings.

Rohlfs also led Redfield at the plate with two hits in three at bats. Erik Salmen, Eli Morrissette, and Seth Siebrecht each drove in one run. Redfield will play Vermillion on Monday.

Vermillion Post 1 10, Platte/Geddes Post 115 0

GREGORY — Vermillion Post 1 earned a shutout win over Platte/Geddes Post 115 at the Class B Legion baseball tournament on Sunday. Vermillion will play Redfield at 5 p.m. Monday.

Willis Robertson led Vermillion on the mound, allowing two hits and zero runs along with five strikeouts in his five inning start.

Reece Proefrock and Jack Kratz each tallied two hits to lead Vermillion, while T.J. Tracy led with three RBI. Robertson, Kratz, Proefrock, Ben Burbach, and Connor Saunders each had one RBI.

Dakota Munger took the loss for Platte/Geddes, giving up ten runs on eight hits in 4 â…” innings, while striking out four.

Carter Lenz and Caden Foxley each recorded one hit to lead Platte/Geddes.

Gregory Post 6 10, Dell Rapids Post 65 3

GREGORY — Gregory Post 6 pulled away from Dell Rapids Post 65 for a win at the Class B Legion baseball tournament on Sunday. Gregory will play Winner/Colome on Monday.

Bryce Frank allowed three runs on six hits and struck out two in 5 â…” innings for Gregory.

Frank, Gannon Thomas, Gunnar Stephens, Sawyer Tietgen, and Kade Braun all collected two hits for Gregory. Thomas, Frank, and Ben Witt each drove in two runs, while Tietgen and Trey Murray drove in one run apiece.

Treyse Eastman took the loss for Dell Rapids, giving up four runs on two hits in 1 â…“ innings, while striking out three.

Joe Rechtenbaugh and Mason Stubbe had two hits apiece to lead Dell Rapids, while Rechtenbaugh, Brayden Pankonen, and Jack Henry each drove in one run.
