GILLETTE, Wyo. — Sturgis bareback rider Kashton Ford delivered two elite performances Wednesday at the National High School Rodeo Finals.

Ford delivered a score of 79 on Wednesday morning then came back in the evening session with a 78. Each of those scores were the top rides in the respective performances.

Late Tuesday Norris’ Caden Stoddard scored 139 to finish third in his performance of the boys cutting competition. On Wednesday New Underwood’s Kash Krogman scored 72 to finish second in his performance.
