VOLGA — Madison’s Dylan Gerdes was a double winner at Tuesday’s Brace-Hopfinger Relays.

Gerdes captured first-place finishes in the 800-meter run (2:10.96) and 1,600-meter run (4:48.64).

Madison’s Shane Veenhof won the 110-meter hurdles (:15.47) and placed second in the 300-meter hurdles (:44.80).

Sioux Valley’s Donovan Rose earned a first-place finish in the 100-meter dash (:11.44) and placed second in the 110-meter hurdles (:15.48). 

Elkton-Lake Benton’s Blake DeVries won the 300-meter hurdles (:42.34) and placed third in the 110-meter hurdles (:16.50).

Hamlin’s Cristhian Rodriguez won the javelin (165-0) and placed second in the shot put (46-2).

Flandreau’s Morgan Sheppard won the 400-meter dash (1:02.90) and finished second in the 100-meter dash (:13.62).

Elkton-Lake Benton’s Sydney DeVries won the 300-meter hurdles (:51.14), finished third in the 100-meter dash (:13.80) and fourth in the 100-meter hurdles (:17.97). 

The Great Plains Lutheran girls won the 400-meter relay (:55.20) and 800-meter relay (1:56.80).
