The Bulldogs captured their 21st Class A state gymnastics title, which is the most in state history. Madison’s last championship came in 2017. 

The Bulldogs finished with 135.333 points to outdistance Deuel (134.933) at the Corn Palace. The Cardinals have won the last four Class A state championships.

Chamberlain (133.600), Hot Springs (132.133) and Estelline/Hendricks (131.600) rounded out the top five. 

The Class A individual portion is Saturday.
