ALEXANDRIA — Hanson swept Chamberlain in Region 5A volleyball action on Monday. The set scores were 25-12, 25-16 and 25-15.

Hanson’s Jersey Kampshoff logged 15 assists and three aces. Kylie Haiar recorded nine kills, while Cadence Jarding had 13 assists. Jazzy Campbell added eight kills and four digs. Claire Bridge posted 12 digs, two assists and one kill. Taziah Hawkins recorded seven kills, five digs and three aces. Kiana Berg had three digs and three kills. Ava Doyle had two kills.

For Chamberlain, Jovie VanDenBosch and Natalie Nelson had three kills apiece. VanDenBosch had 12 digs. Alexis Cronk added four digs and three aces. Chesney Mutziger had nine assists and five digs. Maisy Peterson had one kill and one block. 

Wilmot 3, Waverly-South Shore 0

WILMOT — Wilmot swept Waverly-South Shore in straight sets Monday earning a win in Region 1B volleyball action. The set scores were 25-21, 25-11 and 25-9. 

Addison Heinje powered Wilmot with nine kills and an ace. Jada Cameron finished with seven kills, an ace and an assist while Stacia Redday led with three aces and five assists. Julia Anderson notched three kills, had one ace and an assist. Paige Johnson had two kills with Mya Heinje adding a kill, an ace and four assists.

Stats for Waverly-South Shore were not reported. 

Harrisburg 3, Watertown 2

HARRISBURG — Harrisburg picked up a hard-fought win over Watertown in a match that went five grueling sets. The set  scores were 27-25, 23-25, 25-13, 16-25 and 15-6. 

Gabi Zachariasen had a huge night for Harrisburg putting down 26 kills, four aces and 26 digs. Josalyn Samuels handed out 54 assists. Karalynn Leach added 12 kills, Bergen Stiff recorded four blocks and Kennedy Krokenge also had four aces for Harrisburg. 

Leading Watertown was Emery Thury with 14 kills. Paige McAveavey had four aces while Miranda Falconer led with 31 assists. Carter Jurrens had five blocks and Natalie Pearson led with 15 digs.
