HARRISBURG — With over 30 teams in attendance Saturday’s Harrisburg girls tournament gave wrestling fans some big-time matches. 

The Pierre girls racked up 158 points ahead of Canton (142). Spearfish (80), Viborg-Hurley/Irene-Wakonda (80) and Aberdeen Central (78) rounded out the top-five. 

Pierre’s Ciara McFarling (285) was the lone champion for the Governors. 

Carlee Laubach (170) and Zoe Adam (190) won championships for Canton. 

Britney Rueb (120) and Peyton Hellman (126) each won championships for Bon Homme/Scotland/Avon. 

Other individual champions were awarded to Kimball/White Lake/Platte-Geddes wrestler Akane Metcalfe (106), Rapid City Stevens’ Cassandra Witte (113), Spearfish’s Taylor Graveman (132), Yankton’s Nevaeh Leonard (142) and Aberdeen Central’s Katrina Gibson (154).
