Redfield spoils Colman's Entringer's pitching gem

MITCHELL — Colman’s Deon Entringer held Redfield in check for most of the game accept for one inning, the fifth.

That’s when the Pheasants plated three runs en route to a 4-1 win and spoiling Entringer’s pitching gem in which he struck out 14 Redfield hitters.

Entringer ended the night pitching a complete game, giving up four runs on four hits while walking four to go along with his 14 strikeouts.

Brock Anderson picked up the win for the Pheasants, pitching seven innings, giving up a run on five hits. He struck out seven and walked one before giving the ball to Cooper Walton for the final two innings.

Redfield will meet the Kimball/White Lake after it defeated the Elk Point 8-1 in Saturday night’s earlier game.

Zak Wallner, Armondo Rodriguez and Dylan Konechne led the Nationals with two hits while Wallner picked up the win. He pitched a complete game, giving up one run on five hits.

Preston Fejfar led the Colt 45’s with two hits.
