Sioux Falls Crhistian’s Griffen Goodbary committed to South Dakota State on Saturday.

The 2024 Gatorade South Dakota player of the year led the Chargers to a 25-1 record, losing in the Class A state championship. He was also the Class A boys basketball player of the year, as chosen by the South Dakota Basketball Coaches Association.  

As a junior, the 6-foot-10 forward averaged 20.2 points, 7.1 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.7 blocks per game this past season.

He also received scholarship offers from in-state South Dakota and Northeastern University in Boston.
