SIOUX FALLS — Sioux Falls O’Gorman strengthened its lead after the second round of the girls City Golf Championship on Tuesday.

The Knights carded a 346 at Prairie Green Golf Course and are 688 after two rounds of the event. Sioux Falls Lincoln have shot 362s through the first two rounds and are in second with a 724. 

O’Gorman’s Lauren Sutcliffe fired a 75 on Tuesday, and coupled with her 74 in the first round, has a 5-over-par 149 through two rounds. O’Gorman’s Emily Kolb (165) is in second place, while Lincoln’s Claire Young (166) and Roosevelt’s Sara Sudenga (166) are tied for third place. O’Gorman’s Paydyn Peterson (185) is in fifth place. 

The third and final round is Tuesday, May 10 at Willow Run Golf Course.
