SPEARFISH — The Spearfish girls had no individual champions at Thursday’s Spearfish Invitational. And yet, those Spartan girls brought home a team title after edging Sturgis 

Spearfish racked up 112.5 points to edge Sturgis (105) and Lead-Deadwood (83). Rapid City Central (76) and Hot Springs (72) rounded out the top-five. 

Individual champions for South Dakota were Rapid City Central’s Irini Poka (107), Rapid City Central’s Langston Huffman (114), Lemmon’s Quinn Butler (120), Sturgis’ Brooklyn Brant, Sturgis’ Madison Snyder (138), Hot Springs’ Sarah Rickenbach (145), Lead Deadwood’s Trinity Zopp (152), Lead Deadwood’s Eddy Atkins (165), Custer’s Jessica Hite (185) and Hot Springs’ Madison Nicolaisen (250).
