Watertown JV captures team, individual titles at Sisseton Invite

SISSETON — The Watertown JV boys golf program captured the team and individual awards at the Sisseton Invitational on Thursday.

The Watertown JV won the team title with a score of 340, 14 strokes ahead of Sioux Valley (354). Milbank placed third with a score of 364, while Groton Area (372) finished fourth. Aberdeen Roncalli (396) and Sisseton (401) rounded out the team scoring.

Watertown’s Carter Buisker won the individual title with a score of 78, two strokes ahead of Watertown’s Hayden Ries (80). Sioux Valley’s Tate Steffensen finished third with a score of 83, while Groton Area’s Logan Pearson (85) and Breving Fliehs (86) rounded out the top five.
