Big tournaments and big matches highlighted the wrestling week as athletes continue to move weight classes early in the season.

One of the big movers this week was Parkston junior Kolter Kramer. Entering the week ranked No. 6, Kramer moved all the way up to No. 2 after beating Wagner’s Gannon Knebel 3-2 in the finals of the Elk Point-Jefferson tournament.

It wasn’t just Kramer doing well for Parkston as the Trojans jumped from No. 15 in last week’s poll all the way up to No. 7 this week.

Canton continues to lead in the Class B rankings garnering 146 points, ahead of Philip Area (140) and Custer (119). Kimball/White Lake/Platte-Geddes (108) and Winner Area (104) round out week three’s top-five ranked teams.
