Week 5 Class B Wrestling Rankings - Sisseton's Holden Hawkins in pursuit of Redmen's first state title since 2012
Sisseton's Holden Hawkins defeated Kimball/White Lake/Platte-Geddes' Carter Konechne 16-3 in the finals of the Mid-Dakota Monster wrestling tournament.

The move from Class A to Class B has been a gone one for Sisseton’s Holden Hawkins.

A runner-up at 157 in Class A last season, Hawkins is top-ranked in the Dakota Grappler rankings and looked dominant in winning the Mid-Dakota Monster wrestling tournament. Hawkins picked up a 16-3 major decision over Kimball/White Lake/Platte-Geddes wrestler Carter Konechne who is ranked No. 3 in Class B. 


Canton remains the top ranked Class B team as the C-Hawks are projected to score 158 points, ahead of Kimball/White Lake/Platte-Geddes (110) and Winner Area 101. Tri-Valley moves up in the rankings to No. 4 (85) while Clark/Willow Lake (84) and Parkston (84) round out the top-five teams.
