White River’s Nic Marshall is the 2024 Western Great Plains Conference boys basketball MVP.

The senior guard is joined on the first team by Jones County’s Cooper Feddersen, Philip’s Layton Terkildsen, Wall’s Brodi Sundall and Philip’s Lane Kuchenbecker. 

Kadoka Area’s Gus Stout, New Underwood’s Cash Albers, Jones County’s Kaden Kinsley, White River’s Jordan Uhlir and Wall’s Teelan Kjerstad were second-team honorees. 

Kadoka Area’s Garrett Hermann, White River’s Mackenzie Wike, Wall’s Jace Mohr, White River’s Evastine Wright and Wall’s Emmet Dinger were third-team selections.

Wall’s Ryan Kjerstad is the conference coach of the year.
