Winner's Bella Swedlund enters transfer portal

Winner’s Bella Swedlund has entered the transfer portal. The University of Kansas women’s basketball player tweeted her intentions to transfer on Monday. 

Swedlund was a redshirt freshman guard for the Jayhawks this season and enters the transfer portal with four years of eligibility left. 


Swedlund was a three-star prospect and the No. 25-ranked point guard in the class of 2022 by ESPN.com. She finished her career as Winner’s all-time leading scorer with 2,256 career points. She was also the school’s all-time leader in single-season points, career three-pointers and threes in a season, while she was second all-time in rebounds and assists.

She was a multiple all-state selection and member of teams that have won five conference championships and the 2019 Class A State Championship.
