The selections have been confirmed for the College Division of the 2023 Lakota All Star Games. The rosters feature players from NCAA Divisions I & III, NAIA, NJCAA, and Tribal College levels. Last year's Player of the Game, Miracle Spotted Bear of Haskell, was recently named All-Conference and to the Conference All-Tournament team while leading HINU to the 2023 National Tournament. Isaiah Poor Bear of Wichita State and Mason Archambault of USD will be playing at home in front of family and friends in the He Sapa for the first time as college players.

Micah Swallow, who played in high school at Rapid City Central, will participate after an all-conference season at North Dakota State College of Science as will Ivy Fox of the NDSCS WBB team. Lexus Eagle Chasing of Mississippi Valley State will also make her homecoming after completing her NCAA career at the Division I level. Audrey Drapeau and Wiconi Uses Arrow will be playing in the 2023 NJCAA Division III National Tournament later this month as members of the highly ranked Minnesota West women's  basketball team.

"This is a very talented pool of players and we look forward to bringing all these young men and women together to showcase their talents and meet new people," said LASG Event Director Dale Pine Jr. "There are several players who earned all-conference honors and this speaks to the dedication that these players have. Playing at the collegiate as an Indigenous athlete is helping break barriers and we love to see this upward trend of players at the college level!"

The Lakota All Star Games will be played at the Summit Arena at the Monument in Rapid City, South Dakota on April 29th. Ticket prices and a finalized schedule will be released soon.
