WATERTOWN — A year ago the Watertown girls were a team with a roster full of potential but short on the big-stage experience. 

The Arrows finished sixth in the team competition at the state meet but with an added year of experience goals could be much loftier by state tournament time. In the first weekly poll Pierre is projected to score 136 points, ahead of Canton (105) and Watertown (100). Spearfish (93) and Bon Homme/Scotland/Avon (91) round out the top five teams in the first poll. 

Brooklyn Randall (top-ranked at 114), Olivia Anderson (ranked No. 2 at 120), Allison Konrad (top-ranked at 185) and Eden Hach (ranked No. 2 at 250) are the core centerpieces of a team that should get better as the season progresses.
