Parkston 3, Mount Vernon/Plankinton 1

PARKSTON — Parkston picked up a four-set high school volleyball match win over Mount Vernon/Plankinton on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-16, 13-25, 25-18 and 25-19.

For MVP, Vanessa Hoffman finished with 22 assists and two aces. Reagan Rus recorded 14 kills, while Clara Fink finished with 10 kills. Berkeley Engelland had 18 digs. 

Parkston stats were not reported. 

De Smet 3, Howard 2

HOWARD — De Smet clipped Howard in a five-set high school volleyball match on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-15, 17-25, 12-25, 25-23 and 15-7.

De Smet’s Hazel Luethmers recorded 13 kills and four aces. Alyssa Asleson posted nine assists and eight digs. Megan Dylla posted 25 assists, while Mirra Beck posted 13 kills and 11 digs. Dylla and Ivey Schoenfelder had three aces apiece.

For Howard, Tana Hoyer recorded 11 kills, six assists and six blocks. Abby Aslesen recorded 18 digs, nine kills and four blocks. Liz Albrecht finished with 11 assists and 20 digs. Becca Feldhaus had four blocks.

Miller 3, Kimball/White Lake 0

MILLER — Miller swept Kimball/White Lake in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-18, 25-15 and 25-22.

Miller’s Aleah Schlechter finished with 10 kills, while Gracen Werdel logged nine kills and a block. Shaylee Anderberg recorded seven kills and 12 digs. Paige Werdel finished with five kills. Jolie Palmer recorded three aces and nine digs. Joanlei Baker finished with 12 digs and Cassi Vanderwerff recorded two aces. 

For KWL, Harley Namanny posted seven kills, eight assists and eight digs. Ryann Nielsen posted six kills and 10 digs. Mariah Gosmire and Elena Brennan had two blocks apiece. Madison Meire had 12 digs. 

Northwestern 3, Aberdeen Roncalli 1

MELLETTE — Class B No. 3 Northwestern picked up a four-set high school volleyball win over Aberdeen Roncalli on Tuesday. The set scores were 19-25, 25-20, 25-21 and 25-13.

Northwestern’s Ashley Haven recorded 21 kills and four block assists. Ana Ratigan and Payton Grandpre posted seven kills apiece. Ella Boekelheide posted 29 assists and 23 digs. Grandpre had 12 digs and Tara Blachford posted 14 digs. 

For Roncalli, Ava Hanson finished with nine kills. McKenna O’Keefe posted seven kills and 18 digs. Camryn Bain posted 26 digs. Faith Danielson and Jaidyn Feickert had two aces apiece. 

Dell Rapids 3, Elkton-Lake Benton 0

ELKTON — Dell Rapids swept Elkton-Lake Benton in straight sets in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-17, 25-9 and 25-14.

Dell Rapids’ Madelynn Henry recorded 11 kills, 10 digs and three aces. Lauryn Kloth recorded nine kills and three block assists. Kylee Fiddelke logged five kills and five digs. Alaina Hoff added six digs and four assists. Cate Traill posted three aces and three digs. Elin Schoenhard had four kills and Clara Justice logged five kills. Alaina Wolff recorded six digs and four assists. 

For ELB, Andrea Renkly recorded six kills. Kylie Ramlo posted four kills and five digs. Charlie Thooft posted three kills, while Tevan Erickson finished with 16 assists. 

Florence-Henry 3, Redfield 0

HENRY — Florence-Henry swept Redfield in high school volleyball action on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-22, 25-14 and 25-11.

FH’s Taylor Watson finished with 11 kills, three aces and 16 digs. Caylin Kelly added two aces, 15 kills and 17 digs. Kaija Gusso dished out 22 assists, while Kate Hulscher had two blocks. 

Redfield’s Katie Rozell and Kinley Smith had three kills apiece. Rozell added a block, while Smith had two aces. Hayden Gall dished out five assists and Chloe Zens had 11 digs. 

Centerville 3, Viborg-Hurley 0

CENTERVILLE — Centerville swept Viborg-Hurley in straight sets in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-8, 25-19 and 25-18.

Centerville’s Thea Gust finished with nine kills, five digs and two aces. Lillie Eide added eight kills and five digs. Keira Austin posted 26 assists and four digs. Harper Wattier had five digs and Lilee Shearer had four digs. 

For Viborg-Hurley, Aubree Schwartz finished with eight kills and 11 digs. Addison Huth logged five kills and Charley Nelson posted 28 digs. Jenna Graves recorded five assists and five digs. Mataya Vannorsdel recorded 11 assists and four digs.  

Deuel 3, Sioux Valley 2

VOLGA — Deuel outlasted Sioux Valley for a five-set marathon match win on Tuesday. The set scores were 18-25, 20-25, 25-22, 25-22 and 17-15.

Deuel’s Josie Andersen finished with 14 kills and 18 digs. Emma Sattler recorded eight kills and four digs. Annika Kriz recorded seven kills and 13 digs. Alexis Schilling posted 15 digs. Hope Bjerke added six kills. Andersen finished with 14 assists and Sara Kreger posted 11 assists. Kayden Russell had 10 assists. 

For Sioux Valley, Adison Renkly finished with 13 kills and 15 digs. Allie Hofer added 10 kills and seven digs. Keyra Kruse recorded six kills. Sunny Hesby had 17 assists and six digs. Caitlin Russell finished with 12 digs. Talya Vincent had 17 digs and Emma Gorvin finished with 11 digs. 

West Central 3, Vermillion 2

VERMILLION — West Central edged Vermillion in a five-set high school volleyball match on Tuesday. The set scores were 24-26, 25-14, 25-14, 13-25 and 15-8.

West Central’s Marissa Dobbs posted 10 kills and nine assists. Jocelyn Nilson had 27 digs and Landry Heath added 13 digs. Cambree Ideker posted five kills and four aces. Ellie Lienhard finished with 12 assists, while Addison Meadors had two aces.
