Hamlin 60, Dakota Valley 45

SPEARFISH — Addison Neuendorf and Addie Steffensen combined for 45 points in Hamlin’s victory over Dakota Valley in the Class A state third place game.

Neuendorf led the Chargers with 26 points and nine rebounds, Steffensen tallied 19 points and two steals, while Addelyn Jensen recorded eight points and eight rebounds in the win.

DV’s Camryn Sommervold tallied 12 points and eight rebounds, Ella Otten added 10 points and three assists, Aubree Worden collected seven points and five rebounds, while Emerson Mead totaled six points and eight rebounds in the loss.


Wagner 59, Mt. Vernon-Plankinton 47

SPEARFISH — Ashlyn Koupal fell one block shy of a triple-double as Wagner took seventh place at the Class A state tournament over Mt. Vernon-Plankinton Saturday.

Koupal finished with a game-high 33 points, 10 rebounds, nine blocks and three steals, Lydia Yost added 16 points, seven rebounds and two steals, while Rayvn Medricky collected eight rebounds and four assists in the win.

MVP’s Reagan Rus led the Titans with 20 points, nine rebounds and five assists, Alyssa Johnson added eight points, four assists and three rebounds, while Taryn Hegg and Madalyn Lorang each had seven points in the loss.


Sioux Valley 74, Mobridge-Pollock 59

SPEARFISH — Four players reach double figures as Sioux Valley claimed the Class A state consolation championship over Mobridge-Pollock Saturday.

Kailey Cradduck led the Cossacks with 21 points, 13 rebounds and five assists, shooting 9-for-14 from the field. Talya Vincent added 17 points, including five three-pointers, Liberty Trygstad tallied 16 points, six rebounds and three assists, Keyra Kruse netted 11 points, 16 rebounds, four assists, two blocks and two steals, while Amari Ward added seven points and four rebounds in the win.

MP’s Blake Thompson tallied 20 points and three rebounds, Faith Heil added nine points, six rebounds and four steals, Brooke Bain collected nine points and two steals, Tegan Konold recorded eight points and seven boards, while Charley Henderson netted six points, three assists and two blocks in the loss.

Sioux Falls Christian 57, Mahpiya Luta 56

SPEARFISH — Lezlei Setzer’s game-winning layup pushed Sioux Falls Christian over Mahpiya Luta in the Class A state championship.

Setzer tallied 14 points and 13 rebounds in the win, Emory Lems added 12 points and four rebounds, Ruth Dvoracek tallied nine points and seven rebounds, while Maya Nelson totaled eight points and three steals in the win.

ML’s Essence Tobacco totaled 15 points shooting 5-for-6 from three, Ashlan Carlow-Blount added 14 points, eight rebounds, four assists and four steals, Abigail Haas had seven points and six rebounds, while Dorthie Mesteth, Jodene Big Crow-Hunter and Mya Mills each tallied six points in the loss.
