The South Dakota Class A American Legion baseball first-round pairings have been released. 

The teams will play a best-of-three series, beginning on July 23 and with games two and three on July 24. July 25 is a rain date. The games will be played at the site of the higher seed. 

The winners will advance to the Class A state tournament on July 29-Aug. 2 in Watertown.

The best-of-three first-round pairings include: 

No. 15 Spearfish at No. 1 Rapid City Post 22

No. 14 Sturgis at No. 2 Yankton

No. 13 Aberdeen at No. 4 Brandon Valley 

No. 12 Sioux Falls West at No. 5 Renner

No. 11 Rapid City Post 320 at No. 6 Sioux Falls East

No. 10 Huron at No. 7 Pierre

No. 9 Brookings at No. 8 Harrisburg Gold

No. 3 Watertown receives a bye due to hosting the state tournament.
