Elkton-Lake Benton 3, Hamlin 2

RAPID CITY -- Elkton-Lake Benton rallied from a 2-0 deficit and edged Hamlin in a five-set match on Friday. The set scores were 22-25, 21-25, 27-25, 26-24 and 18-16.

Kailyn Drietz led the Elks with 17 kills and 14 digs. Rachael Krog added 15 kills and 31 digs. Kylie Ramlo posted 11 kills and 20 digs. Tevan Erickson recorded 52 assists and 20 digs. Kinsley Krog had 13 digs. 

Hamlin’s Ally Abraham finished with 28 kills and five digs. Gracelyn Leiseth contributed 16 kills, while Kami Wadsworth finished with 30 assists and 24 digs. Grace Everson logged 21 assists and 19 digs. Addison Neuendorf had 28 digs, while Alyssa West had 17 digs and Lily Smith recorded 12 digs. 

 

Hill City 3, Parkston 1

RAPID CITY -- Hill City advanced to the Class A consolation championship with a four-set win over Parkston on Friday. The set scores were 25-14, 15-25, 25-18 and 25-12.

Hill City’s Marie Peckosh led the Rangers with 10 kills and nine digs. Abby Siemonsma posted 22 assists, 13 digs and six kills. Karsen Kirsch finished with eight kills, 13 digs and three aces. Whitney Edwards logged four kills, three aces and three digs. Maggie Taylor had six kills and Anna Dean posted 13 digs.

Sioux Falls Christian 3, Wagner 0

RAPID CITY -- Sioux Falls Christian advanced to another Class A state championship match with a three-set sweep over Wagner on Friday. The set scores were 25-18, 25-5 and 25-17. 

Katie VanEgdom logged 11 kills and six digs. Sydney Tims added eight kills and Ellie Lems had seven kills and nine digs. Addisen Barber logged 30 assists. Kylah vanDonkersgoed had five kills and 12 digs. 

Wagner’s Macy Koupal logged 11 assists and six digs. Avari Bruguier had seven kills and 10 digs. Madi Knebel finished with 10 digs.
