SIOUX FALLS — Mitchell picked up a consolation semifinal win over Yankton at the Class AA tournament on Friday.

Caden Hinker led the Kernels with 18 points, 13 rebounds, and four assists. Steele Morgan and Dylan Soulek each scored 17 points. Morgan also grabbed 12 rebounds. Charlie McCardle added 11 points and six rebounds.

Mitchell will advance to the consolation championship and play Sioux Falls Lincoln at 1:45 p.m. on Saturday.

Yankton was led by Rugby Ryken with 25 points and five rebounds, while Mac Ryken tallied 11 points and five assists. Jaden Kral and Drew Ryken added eight and seven points, respectively.

The Bucks will play in the seventh place game against Sioux Falls Jefferson at noon on Saturday.

Sioux Falls Lincoln 69, Sioux Falls Jefferson 68

SIOUX FALLS — Sioux Falls Lincoln edged Sioux Falls Jefferson in a consolation semifinal at the Class AA tournament on Friday.

J.T. Rock led the Patriots with 22 points and eight rebounds, while Caleb Hiatt scored 14 points and five rebounds. Khalil Cisse and Elliot Whitney each tallied 10 points, while Gage Gohl added six points.

Sioux Falls Lincoln will play for the consolation championship at 1:45 p.m. on Saturday against Mitchell.

Sioux Falls Jefferson was led by Taylen Ashley with 15 points and four assists, while Kaden Year tallied 14 points. David Jones scored 12 points, while Griffin Wilde recorded 11 points and 11 rebounds.

The Cavaliers will play in the seventh place game against Yankton at noon on Saturday.

Sioux Falls Roosevelt 61, Harrisburg 46

SIOUX FALLS — Sioux Falls Roosevelt pulled away from Harrisburg for a semifinal round win at the Class AA tournament on Friday.

The Rough Riders were led by Micah Johnson with 18 points and four assists, while Vance Borchers tallied 14 points and five boards. Marcus Phillips recorded 10 points and seven rebounds, while Hayden Brown added seven points.

Sioux Falls Roosevelt advances to the Class AA state championship and will play Sioux Falls O’Gorman/Sioux Falls Washington at 7:45 p.m. on Saturday.

Harrisburg was led by Jacoby Mehrman with 15 points, while Gavin Aasheim tallied 11 points. Andrew Walter added eight points. Maxwell Knutson grabbed eight rebounds.

The Tigers will play in the third-place game against Sioux Falls O’Gorman/Sioux Falls Washington at 6 p.m. on Saturday.

Sioux Falls O’Gorman 58, Sioux Falls Washington 57 (OT)

SIOUX FALLS — Sioux Falls O’Gorman edged Sioux Falls Washington in overtime during the Class AA semifinals on Friday.

Sioux Falls O’Gorman was led by David Alpers with 26 points and 12 rebounds, while Matthew Eng scored 12 points. Rush Landry tallied seven points, while Emanuel Struck added six points and seven rebounds.

The Knights advance to the Class AA championship and play Sioux Falls Roosevelt at 7:45 p.m. on Saturday.

Sioux Falls Washington was led by Joe Uttecht with 28 points and five rebounds, while Mikele Kambalo tallied 12 points and five rebounds. Mandala Mohamed added nine points.

The Warriors will play Harrisburg in the third-place game at 6 p.m. on Saturday.
