Class AA Softball Standings - Defending champion Sioux Falls Lincoln off to another quick start

Sioux Falls Lincoln captured the first-ever Class AA state softball title in South Dakota history last spring. While the Patriots don’t have the top seed in Class AA softball they are undefeated with wins over Sturgis (14-0), Rapid City Stevens (15-3), Sioux Falls Washington (3-2) and Sioux Falls Roosevelt (18-1). 

A big game for Lincoln Thursday as the Patriots travel to Brookings to face the 2023 Class AA runner-up Bobcats.

Harrisburg finished sixth at the Class AA state tournament in 2023. The Tigers are 6-0 this season and averaging just over 15 runs per game. The Tigers have a 10-6 win over Class A’s top-seeded team Tea Area. Harrisburg travels west this weekend to take on Rapid City Central and Spearfish. A big game looming next week sees the Tigers hosting Sioux Falls Lincoln on April 25. 

The Brandon Valley Lynx are also off to an undefeated start, standing at 4-0 heading into the weekend. Brandon Valley has wins over Yankton (7-4), Rapid City Stevens (4-3), Sturgis (13-7) and Brookings (5-1). After traveling to take on Spearfish and Rapid City Central Friday, the Lynx will take on Sioux Falls Lincoln and Sioux Falls Jefferson next week.
