Lyman 62, Potter County 60

GETTYSBURG — Lyman outscored Potter County 22-16 in the fourth quarter to secure a two-point boys basketball win on Saturday.

Cooper Long paced Lyman with 24 points and six rebounds. Long also hit two free throws with 4.8 seconds left to break a 60-60 tie. Ryker Choal added 13 points, hit three 3-pointers and grabbed nine rebounds. Jake Millard posted eight points, while Brent Hood added six points. Damian Abrahamson logged seven rebounds. Lyman canned nine 3-pointers. 

Potter County’s Alex Tanner netted 20 points and grabbed 13 rebounds. Ryder Falkenhagen finished with 19 points, eight rebounds and four assists. Landon Larson added 11 points. Jhett Simon had seven points and four rebounds. 


Sanborn Central/Woonsocket 45, Sunshine Bible Academy 33

WOONSOCKET — Sanborn Central/Woonsocket earned a boys basketball win over Sunshine Bible Academy on Saturday.

SCW was led by Jeff Boschee with 13 points, while Cody Slykhuis had eight points. Bryce Larson tallied eight points, four steals, and two assists. Toby Kneen added 10 rebounds.

SBA was led by Nolan Triebwasser with 19 points and 11 rebounds. Daniel Gerbracht recorded 11 points and nine rebounds, while Parker Jones added five assists.

 

 



Pierre 71, Rapid City Central 44

PIERRE — Class AA No. 5 Pierre picked up a boys basketball win over Rapid City Central on Saturday. 

Lincoln Kienholz led the Governors with 21 points, while Benjamin Heisler netted 19 points. Jackson Edman added eight points, 16 rebounds and six assists. Christian Busch and Jacob Mayer scored eight and six points, respectively. 

Rapid City Central’s Lincoln Archambault and Cameron Steidley scored 11 points apiece. 


Mobridge-Pollock 58, Sisseton 36

MOBRIDGE — Mobridge-Pollock used a 30-14 second-half surge to pick up a boys basketball win over Sisseton on Saturday.

Mobridge-Pollock’s Michael Wald finished with 15 points and eight rebounds. Kobe Goodshield added 13 points, four assists and four steals. Shane Henderson logged 10 points and six rebounds. Jackson Eisemann and Coy Hinsz scored seven and five points, respectively. 

Sisseton’s Nate Tchida finished with 15 points and four rebounds. Christian Shepard and Carter Strickland scored eight points apiece. Shepard grabbed 10 rebounds. Mason Herzog had seven rebounds. 


Miller 58, Cheyenne-Eagle Butte 34

EAGLE BUTTE — Miller coasted past Cheyenne-Eagle Butte for a boys basketball win on Saturday.

Miller’s Alex Schumacher netted 19 points. Dylan Haas, Trevor Werdel and Isaak Hunter scored 11 points apiece. Treyton Anson added six points. 

CEB’s Todd LaPlante scored eight points. Maximus Bobtail Bear finished with seven points, while MacKenzie Cass and Damien Clown scored six points apiece. 


Platte-Geddes 77, Andes Central/Dakota Christian 38

NEW HOLLAND — Platte-Geddes jumped out to a 50-15 halftime lead and coasted to a boys basketball win on Saturday. 

Platte-Geddes’ Tanner Dyk finished with 19 points and six rebounds. Joey Foxley added 16 points and Aiden Bultje grabbed six rebounds. 

ACDC’s Ty Archambeau finished with eight points and 11 rebounds. Garth Maas and Tate Timmermans scored six points apiece. Sabas DeHaan and Anaias White Eyes scored five points apiece. 


Colome 54, Corsica-Stickney 46

COLOME — Colome outlasted Corsica-Stickney for a boys basketball win on Saturday. 

Colome’s Joseph Laprath netted a game-high 28 points, while Eli Vobr added eight points. Kash Heath added six points. Alec Thieman grabbed six rebounds, dished out four assists and scored three points. 

Corsica-Stickney’s Tye Hosman finished with 14 points and eight rebounds. Shad Bosma tossed in 13 points and grabbed four rebounds. Carter Wright added 10 points and five rebounds. Lucas Krogstad grabbed eight rebounds. 


McCook Central/Montrose 52, Parker 42

MONTROSE — McCook Central/Montrose pulled away from Parker for a boys basketball win on Saturday. 

Mason Sabers finished with 14 points, while Boston Katzer logged 10 points, 12 rebounds and four steals. Owen Alley added eight points and 14 rebounds. Isaac Kane posted seven points and Jackson Schmidt scored six points. 

Parker’s Seth VanVliet finished with 18 points and hit four 3-pointers. Landon Beck tossed in 12 points and Ray Travnicek scored 11 points. 


Elk Point-Jefferson 70, Madison 63

ELK POINT — Elk Point-Jefferson held off Madison for a boys basketball win on Saturday.

EPJ was led by Easton Kempf with 24 points, while Jakob Scarmon tallied 13 points. Evan Fornia had 12 points, while Devon Schmitz had 10 points.

Madison stats were not reported.


Menno 50, Alcester-Hudson 39

MENNO — Menno earned a boys basketball win over Alcester-Hudson on Saturday.

Menno’s Kadeyn Ulmer tallied 16 points and four steals, while Ajay Herrboldt had 14 points. Hayden McNinch recorded 10 points, 14 rebounds, and three assists. Blake Rames had eight rebounds, while Maveric Smith added five steals and three assists.

Alcester-Hudson’s Ethan Bovill had 12 points and four steals, while Jose Lopez had 12 points. Will Hallaway added eight rebounds.


Sioux Falls Christian 61, West Central 33

HARTFORD — Ethan Bruns and Cole Snyder combined for 32 points to pace Sioux Falls Christian to a boys basketball win on Saturday.

Bruns recorded 17 points, while Snyder added 15 points. Tate Snyder scored eight points. 

West Central’s Trevin Price and Crew Heier scored six points apiece, while Heier hauled in eight rebounds. Carter Tetzlaff and Erik Seten scored five points apiece. Brodie Herr grabbed seven rebounds.
