Huron 54, Pierre 39

HURON — Class AA No. 4 Huron pulled away from Pierre for a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Huron’s Davis Chase finished with 27 points, 12 rebounds and three blocks. Carter Porisch added 12 points. Anderson Porisch totaled seven points and 10 rebounds. Myles Ellwein scored six points.

For Pierre, Lincoln Dilges scored 11 points. Cooper Terwilliger finished with nine points and six rebounds. Corde Austin scored seven points. 


Dakota Valley 74, Vermillion 65

NORTH SIOUX CITY — Tatum Sorensen erupted for 41 points to power Dakota Valley to a boys basketball win over Class A No. 7 Vermillion on Tuesday.

Sorensen finished 12-of-18 from the field, 11-of-13 at the free-throw line and 6-of-8 at the 3-point line. He added nine rebounds and three assists. Aaron Bruns and Luke Anema scored 13 points apiece. Bruns added seven rebounds and three assists. 

For Vermillion, Trey Hansen tossed in 38 points. Luke Jensen grabbed nine rebounds.


Viborg-Hurley 78, Parker/Marion 67

HURLEY — Brady Schroedermeier’s 34-point double-double pushed Class B No. 2 Viborg-Hurley over Parker/Marion for a boys basketball win Tuesday.

Schroedermeier finished with 34 points and 11 rebounds. Schroedermeier also scored his 1,000th career point. Jake Austin added 15 points, Braydyn Morrison had 11 points, Brenner Gerdes netted seven points, Walker Warwick dished out six assists while Lincoln Vannorsdel had six points in the win.

For PM, Jackson Donlan had 22 points, Karter Weber added 12 points while Landon Wieman totaled 11 points.


Chester 51, Oldham-Ramona/Rutland 41

CHESTER — Three players scored in double figures as Chester took down Oldham-Ramona/Rutland in boys basketball action Tuesday.

Carter Vogel led the Flyers with 15 points, Zach Moyer added 12 points, Jaxton Opdahl totaled 11 points while JD Prorok finished with five points, 21 rebounds and six assists in the win.

For ORR, Brodie Albertson led with 20 points while Brennan Bickett collected nine points in the loss.


Howard 45, Colman-Egan 42

HOWARD — Howard clipped Colman-Egan for a Tuesday boys basketball win.

Howard’s Kolt Becker finished with 10 points, while Owen Feldhaus and Brody Spader added nine points. Spader hit three 3-pointers. Chas Shumaker scored eight points.

For CE, Caden Zwart had 15 points. Julian Allen and Westyn Pearson scored nine points apiece. 


Castlewood 59, Florence-Henry 28

CASTLEWOOD — Kamden Keszler powered Class B No. 1 Castlewood to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Keszler finished with a game-high 28 points and three 3-pointers. Will Aderhold had eight points and 13 rebounds. Leonard Wernke scored eight points. Brody Bass, Tyson Manley and Trevor Everson scored five points apiece.

For FH, Carson Kelly scored nine points. Tucker Keller scored five points. 


Hamlin 72, Aberdeen Roncalli 40

HAYTI — Jackson Wadsworth powered Class A No. 4 Hamlin to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Wadsworth totaled 29 points and hit three 3-pointers. Trig Heinrich added 12 points and Broden Stevenson had 11 points. Aiden Abraham and Jack Stormo scored seven points apiece.

For Roncalli, Jesse Hernandez, Creighton Fisher and Austin Fisher scored 11 points apiece.

 

Bridgewater-Emery 56, Avon 38

AVON --- Ben Weber and Holden Wollmann powered Bridgewater-Emery to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Weber finished with 20 points, 16 rebounds, eight assists and four blocks. Wollmann added 17 points, six rebounds and four steals.

For Avon, Dominic Doom scored 11 points and Al'Shamon Gunter totaled eight rebounds. 

 

Sioux Valley 69, Deuel 40

CLEAR LAKE — Three players finished in double figures to push Sioux Valley over Deuel in boys basketball action Tuesday.

Carter Sapp led the Cossacks with 19 points, four rebounds and three steals, Conner Relf added 13 points and three rebounds, Brady Hiltunen netted 11 points and three steals while Braden Danzeisen had eight points in the win.

For Deuel, Kyle Finnesand finished with 11 points and nine rebounds, Braxtin Winter tallied eight points while Troy Jenson netted nine points, four rebounds and four assists in the loss.


Freeman 54, Hanson 38

ALEXANDRIA — Class B No. 4 Freeman downed Hanson in Tuesday boys basketball action.

Freeman’s David Walter finished with 17 points, nine rebounds and three assists. Luke Miller totaled 12 points, while Tate Sorensen recorded seven points and nine rebounds. 

For Hanson, Nate Wilber finished with 15 points and six boards. Radek Jarding, Conner Endorf and Pierce Kayser scored six points apiece. Endorf added six rebounds.


Corsica-Stickney 50, Kimball/White Lake 48 (OT)

KIMBALL — Brooks Blom’s 18-point double-double helped Corsica-Stickney hold off Kimball/White Lake in overtime for a boys basketball win Tuesday.

Blom finished with 18 points and 13 rebounds in the win, Jaxson Feenstra added eight points while Jett Kemp netted six points and four assists for the Jaguars.

For KWL, Keaton Christensen had a game-high 28 points to go along with nine rebounds while Jack Suelflow netted nine points and 10 boards in the loss.


New Underwood 79, Kadoka Area 59

NEW UNDERWOOD — Four players scored in double figures to power New Underwood to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

New Underwood’s Ethan Enos totaled 23 points and three 3-pointers. Zach Henriksen had 19 points and Kaleb Myers scored 17 points. Quinn Aschwege had eight points and Blake Beer scored five points.

For Kadoka Area, Kole Hermann finished with 23 points and four 3-pointers. Jordan Eisenbraun had 11 points, while Riley Running Enemy and Karson Eisenbraun had eight points apiece. 


Bridgewater-Emery 56, Avon 38

AVON — Bridgewater-Emery shut out Avon in the fourth quarter to knock off the Pirates in boys basketball action Tuesday.

BE’s stats were not reported.

BE’s Dominic Doom led with 11 points and five rebounds, Al’Shamon Gunter had eight points, 10 boards and three blocks while Cale Cooper recorded eight points in the loss.


De Smet 72, Flandreau 34 

DE SMET — Four players scored in double figures to power Class B No. 3 De Smet to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

De Smet’s Carter Wilkinson finished with 17 points, five 3-pointers, five assists and three rebounds. Coy VanRegenmorter totaled 16 points, five assists, four 3-pointers and three rebounds. Noah Luethmers recorded 15 points and three assists. Grant Wilkinson had 12 points, 14 boards and four blocked shots. Slayten Wilkinson and Kolby Sinclair scored six points apiece. 

For Flandreau, Xavier Bien totaled nine points on three 3-pointers. Alexavier Poitra scored eight points and Kody Kneebone had six points. 


Clark/Willow Lake 64, Britton-Hecla 29

CLARK — Sully Felberg and Bo Begeman powered Class A No. 3 Clark/Willow Lake to a boys basketball win on Tuesday. 

Felberg recorded a double-double with 32 points and 16 boards. Begeman added 11 points and seven boards. Emmerson Larson and Chris Bevers scored six points apiece. Jakob Steen had five points.

For BH, William Richter totaled 10 points and three 3-pointers. 


Platte-Geddes 55, Gregory 45

PLATTE — Platte-Geddes pulled away from Gregory for a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

PG’s Isaac Leader finished with 22 points and seven rebounds. Landen Wright had eight points and eight rebounds. Hayes DeVries totaled eight points and three rebounds. Jye Bailey finished with seven points and seven rebounds.

For Gregory, Colt Keiser finished with 24 points and Lincoln Juracek had 10 points. Carter Baumgartner totaled seven points. 


Aberdeen Christian 63, Ipswich 26

IPSWICH — Jett Johnson and Brooks Jett powered Class B No. 6 Aberdeen Christian to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Johnson finished with 14 points and four 3-pointers. Jett added 12 points and eight boards. Grady Jett had eight points and seven rebounds. Dylan Hofer added seven points, eight rebounds and six assists. Charles Eichler scored seven points.

For Ipswich, Kyle Hettich and Shay Knust scored seven points apiece. Hayden Schlosser added five points.


Sanborn Central-Woonsocket 54, Wagner 43

WAGNER — McCoy Schulz and Sam Baruth guided Sanborn Central-Woonsocket to a boys basketball win over Wagner Tuesday.

Schultz led the Blackhawks with 18 points and 15 rebounds, Baruth added 15 points and three rebounds, Grant Edwards scored nine points with 11 rebounds and three assists while Eli White and Landon Jensen each netted six points in the win.

For Wagner, Carlos Galindo had 20 points while Jesse Zephier netted 12 points in the loss.


Rapid City Christian 74, Belle Fourche 43

BELLE FOURCHE — Four players scored in double figures to pace Rapid City Christian to a boys basketball win over Belle Fourche on Tuesday.

Peyton Glenn led the Comets with 23 points. Sully Kieffer added 17 points and eight assists. Joaquin Petrik had 14 points and Henry Koppmann added 10 points 

For Belle Fourche, Sern Weishaar had 15 points and JP Jensen scored 11 points. 


Baltic 71, Elkton-Lake Benton 43

ELKTON — Four players scored in double figures to power Baltic to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Baltic’s Trevor Cuperus scored 23 points, while Cooper Garry and Kellen Artz scored 13 points apiece. Dylan Runestad totaled 10 points and Benjamin Berg had eight points.

For ELB, Myles Poindexter had 14 points and three 3-pointers. Eliot Erickson scored 10 points and Berkley Hemmen had five points. 


Groton Area 75, Leola/Frederick Area 29

FREDERICK — Three players scored in double figures to power Class A No. 9 Groton Area to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Groton Area’s Ryder Johnson finished with 15 points, while Karson Zak had 14 points. Keegen Tracy added 10 points. Becker Bosma added nine points. Gage Sippel and Anthony Tracy scored six points apiece.

For LFA, Quinn Huettl had 10 points and Winston Clark scored eight points. 


Madison 69, McCook Central/Montrose 56

SALEM — Three players scored in double figures to pace Madison to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Madison’s Henry Veenhof finished with 23 points and six boards. Shane Veenhof posted 11 points and four rebounds. Myle Schneider had 10 points. Brody Cummins recorded nine points. 

For MCM, Andrew Sabers and Dawson Dorr scored 11 points apiece. Dorr had six boards. Ben Wiebersick had nine points and five rebounds. Owen Schmidt recorded eight points, while Zane McCormick had seven points. Hayes Erickson recorded five points. 


Mitchell 54, Aberdeen Central 34

MITCHELL — Colton Smith powered Mitchell to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Smith totaled 28 points, 10 rebounds and three steals. Owen Raml added 12 points and five rebounds. Collin Weier had five points and 10 boards. 

For Aberdeen Central, Luke Swanson recorded 10 points, four rebounds and four steals. Bryson Burgard had seven points. Jack Bertsch totaled five points and seven boards.
