Corsica-Stickney 38, Waubay-Summit 32

HURON — Corsica-Stickney clipped Waubay-Summit for a SoDak 16 girls basketball win on Thursday. The Jaguars will play in the Class B state girls basketball tournament on March 12-14 in Brookings.

Corsica-Stickney’s Braylee Bordewyk finished with 22 points, six rebounds and five steals. Daryan DeVries had five points. 

For WS, Brynlee Amdahl finished with 14 points and four 3-pointers. Addison Heinje added 13 points and 11 rebounds. Peyton Rumpza totaled 11 rebounds.


Parkston 40, De Smet 36

MITCHELL — Parkston clipped De Smet for a SoDak 16 girls basketball win on Thursday. The Trojans will play in the Class B state girls basketball tournament on March 12-14 in Brookings.

Keeara Oakley had 15 points, five rebounds and two blocks, Morgan Maxwell added 10 points and five rebounds, Berkeley Ziebart tallied seven points, five boards and three steals while Alexis Holzbauer netted five points and two steals in the win.

For De Smet, Hazel Luethmers had 13 points and seven rebounds, Audi Currier added nine points, and eight rebounds while Adaly Gross collected six points in the loss.


Colman-Egan 49, Warner 44

HURON — Colman-Egan outlasted Warner for a SoDak 16 girls basketball win on Thursday. Colman-Egan will play in the Class B state girls basketball tournament on March 12-14 in Brookings.

CE’s Brynlee Landis finished with 20 points, seven rebounds and three assists. Quinn Meyer added 12 points and five rebounds. Jolie Flatten had nine points, four rebounds and four assists. Mya Reiff had six points, six blocks and six rebounds. 

For Warner, Jaycee Jung had 12 points. Kaydee Mackner recorded nine points and eight rebounds. Courtney Leidholt and Miah Leidholt scored six points apiece.


Centerville 57, Highmore-Harrold 41

MITCHELL — Izzie Eide and Brea Austin combined for 35 points as Centerville defeated Highmore-Harrold for a SoDak 16 girls basketball win Thursday. The Tornadoes will play in the Class B state girls basketball tournament on March 12-14 in Brookings.

Eide led Centerville with 19 points, Austin added 16 points, Peyton Hansen recorded nine points while Lydia Austin netted seven points in the win.

For HH, Jada Baloun led with 15 points, Autumn Fallis added nine points, Elle Stagg recorded seven points while Addison McDonnell totaled five points in the loss.


Lyman 53, McIntosh 22

FORT PIERRE — Jordyn Scott and Mak Scott powered Class B No. 1 Lyman to a SoDak 16 girls basketball win on Thursday. Lyman will play in the Class B state girls basketball tournament on March 12-14 in Brookings. 

Jordyn Scott totaled 26 points, eight rebounds, six steals, four assists and three steals. Mak Scott added 17 points, seven rebounds and four assists. Bree Smart had seven points, four rebounds, four assists and three steals. Brooke Montgomery had five steals, seven rebounds and three points. 

McIntosh stats were not reported.
