Potter County 83, Timber Lake 63

GETTYSBURG — Behind a monster performance from Cooper Logan, Class B No. 5 Potter County used a big second half to pull away from Timber Lake for a boys basketball win on Friday.

Logan finished with 40 points, six rebounds, five assists, and four steals, while Grant Luikens scored 21 points and 10 rebounds. Seth Sharp added 13 points and 10 rebounds.

Timber Lake was led by Brandt Ducheneaux with 14 points, while Hank Kraft scored 13 points and six rebounds. Chazz Gabe tallied nine points and 11 rebounds, while Kedrick Martin and Tristan Dupris scored seven points apiece.


Leola/Frederick Area 39, Ipswich 31

IPSWICH — Leola/Frederick Area picked up a boys basketball win over Ipswich on Friday.

Ethan Morlock led the Titans with 10 points, while Colton Spitzer scored nine points. Brayden Sumption tallied seven points, while Mason Hinz added six points and seven boards.

Ipswich’s Taylor Thorson scored 11 points and six rebounds, while Ty Kadlec grabbed 12 rebounds.


Langford Area 54, Waverly-South Shore 43

LANGFORD — Three players scored in double figures as Langford Area picked up a boys basketball win over Waverly-South Shore on Friday.

The Lions were led by Jesse Keough with 21 points and eight rebounds, while Jackson Bahr tallied 17 points. Brayden Peterson added 11 points.

WSS was led by Carter Comes with 24 points and 14 rebounds, while Dan Dalton tallied eight points and Landon Maag added seven points.


Hanson 54, Elkton-Lake Benton 34

ELKTON — Ethan Cheeseman and Noah Price combined for 40 points as Hanson pulled away from Elkton-Lake Benton for a boys basketball win on Friday.

Cheeseman finished with 22 points and eight rebounds, while Price tallied 18 points and six rebounds. Kade Waldera added nine rebounds, four assists, and two steals.

ELB was led by Miles Harming with 14 points and five rebounds, while Aiden Erickson added seven rebounds.


Madison 69, Viborg-Hurley 41

MADISON — Madison used a 15-2 first quarter to pull away from Viborg-Hurley for a boys basketball win on Friday.

Madison’s Aiden Jensen finished with 19 points and nine rebounds, while Ben Brooks tallied 15 points. Nate Ricke added 11 points.

Viborg-Hurley’s Hayden Gilbert scored 16 points, while Blake Schroedermeier added 11 points.


Belle Fourche 69, Mobridge-Pollock 48

MOBRIDGE — Five players scored in double figures as Belle Fourche cruised past Mobridge-Pollock for a boys basketball win on Friday.

Aiden Giffin led the Broncs with 21 points, while Gabe Heck and Anthony Budmayr each tallied 12 points. Anthony Staley totaled 11 points, while Ryker Audiss added 10 points.

Mobridge-Pollock was led by Thane Beheler with 15 points, while Jackson Eisemann scored 14 points. Caelan McCollam added seven points.

 

Sioux Falls Washington 70, Rapid City Stevens 54

RAPID CITY — Class AA No. 4 Sioux Falls Washington raced past Rapid City Stevens for a boys basketball win on Friday.

Mikele Kambalo led the Warriors with 23 points, while Angok Akot scored 17 points, eight rebounds, and six assists. Mandalla Mohamed tallied 12 points, while Joe Uttecht added nine points.

Nate Kindred led the Raiders with 22 points, while Kolin Ray and Charles Christensen scored nine and eight points, respectively.


Sioux Falls Lincoln 78, Rapid City Central 53

RAPID CITY — Class AA No. 5 Sioux Falls Lincoln used a 24-1 second quarter to cruise past Rapid City Central in a boys basketball game on Friday.

J.T. Rock scored 15 points to lead the Patriots, while Elliot Whitney tallied 12 points. Caleb Hiatt totaled 11 points, while Gage Gohl finished with 10 points. Saif Shah scored nine points, Kyler Dahl tallied eight points, and Khalil Cisse added seven points.

Rapid City Central was led by Reno Lowe with 22 points and four steals, while Jace Brown totaled 13 points. Jon Suarez added nine points.


Harrisburg 61, Brookings 37

HARRISBURG — Harrisburg raced past from Brookings for a boys basketball win on Friday.

Ethan Determan led the Tigers with 20 points, while Jacoby Mehrman scored 10 points.

Girls Basketball

Sioux Falls Washington 57, Rapid City Stevens 44

RAPID CITY — Class AA No. 1 Sioux Falls Washington picked up a girls basketball win over Class AA No. 3 Rapid City Stevens on Friday.

Ndjakalenga Mwenentanda and Brooklyn Harpe each scored 16 points, while Alexus Motley added nine points.

Rapid City Stevens was led by Jayda McNabb with 10 points and seven rebounds. Bailee Sobczak, Jaden Matkins, and Taaliyah Porter scored seven points apiece.


Brandon Valley 57, Huron 31

BRANDON — Class AA No. 4 Brandon Valley cruised past Huron for a girls basketball win on Friday.

BV’s Hilary Behrens scored 18 points, while Tessa Bowar tallied 13 points. Sidney Thue added nine points.

Huron’s Hamtyn Heinz scored eight points, while Alexis Feenstra tallied seven points. Isabella Ellwein and Heaven Gainey added six points apiece.

 

Rapid City Central 45, Sioux Falls Lincoln 43

RAPID CITY — Class AA No. 5 Rapid City Central edged Sioux Falls Lincoln in a girls basketball game on Friday.

The Cobblers were led by Josie Hill with 18 points, nine rebounds, and five assists, while Sadie Glade tallied 11 points and six rebounds. Amarae Rinto added seven points.

The Patriots were led by Mariah Siem with 17 points and six rebounds, while Adyson Sand scored 12 points. Alicen Honner added six points.
