Sioux Falls Lincoln vs. Sioux Falls O’Gorman

SIOUX FALLS — It’s No. 1 vs. No. 2 in the state’s biggest class.

No. 1 Sioux Falls Lincoln (4-0) plays No. 2 Sioux Falls O’Gorman (4-0) in a matchup between the last two undefeated teams in Class 11AAA.

The Sioux Falls powers have separated themselves from the Class 11AAA pack, and Friday’s matchup could be the first of two meetings this season.

Sioux Falls Lincoln has pitched two shutouts, and is coming off a 35-20 win over Harrisburg last week. Against the Tigers, Tate Schafer completed 20 of 28 passes for 231 yards and threw four touchdowns. Schafer has multiple playmakers at his disposal, including speedy wide receiver Jack Smith.

Sioux Falls O’Gorman has proven to be a high-powered offensive unit this season. The Knights erupted for a 77-20 win over Sioux Falls Roosevelt, a 47-0 romp over Rapid City Stevens, and picked up quality wins over Brandon Valley (24-21) and Tea Area (41-30).

Wall at Lyman

PRESHO — Wall will take the 115-mile trip down Interstate 90 to face West River foe Lyman on Friday.

Wall dropped a 22-12 decision against Philip on Aug. 25, but has since rattled off wins over New Underwood (52-0), Kadoka Area (54-12) and White River (48-6).

Oldenkamp logged two rushing touchdowns, one passing and hauled in a 61-yard touchdown reception.
