ONIDA — Ipswich captured team titles at Thursday’s Central Plains Super Regional track and field meet. 

The Ipswich girls posted 112 points, followed by Potter County (83), Hitchcock-Tulare (61.5) and Lemmon (61.5). The Ipswich boys totaled 94 points, finishing ahead of Lemmon (63) and Aberdeen Roncalli (62). 

In boys action, Ipswich’s Kyle Hettich won the 100-meter dash (:11.22) and 200-meter dash (:22.88). 

The Ipswich foursome of Hettich, Brody Davis, Casey Geditz and Rasmus Loken won the 800-meter relay (1:34.90). Loken, Hettich, Maxwell Kulesa and Casey Geditz won the 1,600-meter relay (3:33.89). 

Loken won the pole vault with a mark of 13-6. 

Timber Lake’s Gavin Farlee won the 400-meter dash (:51.52) and teammate Holden Gill won the 800-meter run (2:03.27). Mason Bickel won the shot put (46-6.5) for the Panthers. 

Dupree’s Spencer Olsen won the 1,600-meter run (4:45.50). Olsen, Tayshaun Cudmore, Traden Meeks and Tripp Schrempp teamed up to win the 3,200-meter relay (8:36.70). 

North Central’s Gabe Johnson captured the 3,200-meter run in 9:53.97. 

Aberdeen Roncalli’s Parker Grieben won the 110-meter hurdles (:16.02) and 300-meter hurdles (:42.02). 

Aberdeen Christian’s Dylan Hofer, Brooks Jett, Luke Kaiser and Eben Wurgler won the 400-meter relay (:45.75). Hofer added a first-place finish in the triple jump (40-0.5). 

Stanley County’s Paxton Deal, Brendon Bothwell, Landon Bame and Spencer Sargent won the sprint medley relay (3:46.10). 

Mobridge-Pollock’s Shane Henderson won the discus with a toss of 145-11. Henderson added a third-place finish in the javelin (143-11). Mobridge-Pollock’s Jesse Schneider won the high jump (5-11). 

Faulkton Area’s Weston Senn won the javelin (149-3). Potter County’s Landon Larson won the long jump (22-0.5).

In girls action, Ipswich’s Madisyn Gellhaus won the 1,600-meter run, covering the distance in 5:31.74. She added a second-place finish in the 3,200-meter run (12:31.89). Ipswich’s Marley Guthmiller (9-6) and Jalyssa Hutson (9-6) finished first and second, respectively, in the pole vault. 

Herreid/Selby Area’s Breanna Jochim won the 100-meter dash (:12.56) and placed third in the 200-meter dash (:27.02). Jochim, Mariah Peters, Brooklyn Heim and Stephanie Albee won the 400-meter relay (:51.62). The same quartet won the 800-meter relay (1:49.44). 

Aberdeen Christian’s Shawnteah LaCroix won the 200-meter dash (:26.00). 

Sunshine Bible Academy’s Abby Hinman won the 400-meter dash (1:01.78). SBA’s Ciera Mickelson won the high jump (4-11). 

Northwestern’s Ella Boekelheide won the 800-meter run (2:19.64). 

Highmore-Harrold’s Autumn Fallis won the 3,200-meter run in 12:05.89. Fallis, Tenley McDonnell, Emma Salathe and Whitley Baloun won the sprint medley relay (4:25.15). 

Potter County’s Dannika Kaup won the 100-meter hurdles (:16.46) and 300-meter hurdles (:47.12). Kaup teamed up with Jadyn Ahlemeier, Finlee Heien and Emma Schlachter to win the 1,600-meter relay (4:10.73). Kaup, Paige Ahlemeier, Jadyn Ahlemeier and Schlachter also won the 3,200-meter relay (10:08.87). 

Timber Lake’s Jasmine Nash won the shot put (38-4) and discus (124-9). 

Hitchcock-Tulare’s Katelyn Schroeder won the javelin (118-11), while teammate Emma Schneider won the long jump (16-5) and triple jump (34-7).
