St. Thomas More 50, Spearfish 40

RAPID CITY — St. Thomas More pulled away from Spearfish to a Tuesday girls basketball win.

STM’s Leighton Scherr recorded 12 points, while Enna Henry and Rachael Hyde finished with eight points apiece. Brynn Donnelly and Kaitlin Strain had six points apiece.

For Spearfish, 

Spearfish’s Kate Scharf scored 12 points and Adelyn Bouman had 11 points and hit three 3-pointers. Sierra Sandford totaled seven points. 


Hill City 47, Sturgis 36

STURGIS — Macie Ham and Lillie Ham paced Hill City to a girls basketball win on Tuesday.

Macie Ham scored 12 points and Lillie Ham added 10 points. Daril Frandsen scored nine points. Alaina Dean scored five points.

For Sturgis, Leigha Long scored 12 points. Olivia Vliem scored eight points and Brilee Heath scored six points. 


Centerville 64, Tripp-Delmont/Armour 46

CENTERVILLE — Izzie Eide scored 16 points and recorded her 1,000th career point in Class B No. 6 Centerville’s girls basketball win over Tripp-Delmont/Armour.

Eide added six steals. Brea Austin finished with 19 points, while Lydia Austin had 12 points, seven rebounds and five steals. Peyton Hansen and Ashlyn Hagena had eight points apiece. Hansen added seven boards.

For TDA, Kinley Spaans recorded 23 points and Mia Reiner scored 14 points. Sara Bertram scored five points.


Colman-Egan 71, Castlewood 39

COLMAN — Quinn Meyer and Brynlee Landis combined for 37 points as Class B No. 5 Colman-Egan defeated Castlewood in girls basketball action Tuesday.

Meyer led the Hawks with 20 points and six rebounds, Landis added 17 points and four rebounds, Mya Reiff recorded 12 points and eight boards, Maci Voelker collected eight points and three rebounds while Jolie Flatten had seven points and six rebounds in the win.

For Castlewood, Ava Ruml recorded 14 points and seven rebounds while Cassidy Kirwan had nine points in the loss.


Avon 59, Burke 35

BURKE — Rilyn Thury and Brielle Voigt led Avon to a girls basketball win on Tuesday.

Thury recorded 21 points and Voigt added 13 points. Jordyn Voigt scored 11 points.

For Burke, Emmie Hausmann had 14 points and four rebounds. Emmy Spencer and Breckyn Pistulka had six points apiece. Spencer added five boards. 


Gregory 70, Stanley County 30

GREGORY — Dani VanDerWerff and Dani Graesser powered Gregory to a girls basketball win on Tuesday.

VanDerWerff finished with 26 points and Graesser added 25 points. Asia VanDerWerff had nine points and Gracie Biggins scored six points.

For Stanley County, JoRayah Walker scored 10 points. Kynzi Hall scored seven points, while Austyn Norman and Addy Deal scored six points apiece. 


Sanborn Central/Woonsocket 38, Hanson 19

ALEXANDRIA — Class B No. 7 Sanborn Central/Woonsocket pulled away from Hanson for a girls basketball win on Tuesday.

SCW’s Liz Boschee finished with nine points and six rebounds. Addison Bartholow had seven points and nine boards. Cami Edwards totaled seven points. Lainey Goertz had seven boards.

For Hanson, Ava Doyle finished with 10 points and 10 boards. 


Britton-Hecla 44, Leola-Frederick Area 37

BRITTON — Chellon Pruitt paced Britton-Hecla to a girls basketball win on Tuesday. 

Pruitt finished with 21 points and 10 boards. Maddie Micko scored eight points and Koryn Jones added six points. Daynika Zuehlke had five points and eight assists. Karlie Zuehlke added 10 rebounds and four points. 

For LFA, Kalyce Achen finished with 18 points and Arabella Clark scored seven points. Kaitlyn Mueller had six points. 


Rapid City Christian 66, Custer 14

CUSTER — Nora Kieffer paced Rapid City Christian to a girls basketball win on Tuesday.

Kieffer finished with 16 points and Nia Selfridge added eight points. Sadie Marshall, Maddie Kooiman and Emma Swenson scored seven points apiece.

Custer stats were not reported. 


Wagner 59, Corsica-Stickney 29

CORSICA — Ashlyn Koupal’s double-double powered Class A No. 4 Wagner to a girls basketball win over Class B No. 8 Corsica-Stickney on Tuesday.

Koupal finished with 25 points, 24 rebounds, four assists and four blocked shots. Braxton Nedved had 12 points and four rebounds. Ravyn Medricky totaled 10 points and nine rebounds. 

For Corsica-Stickney, Braylee Bordewyk had 14 points, seven rebounds and three steals. Sophie DeLange added 12 points.


Sioux Valley 62, De Smet 38

VOLGA — Four players reached double figures in Class A No. 5 Sioux Valley’s win over De Smet Tuesday.

Miley Keating led with 13 points, three rebounds and two blocks, Liberty Trygstad added 12 points, three rebounds, three steals and two assists, Amari Ward had 12 points, seven points and three steals, Kailey Cradduck poured in 10 points with six rebounds and three assists while Talya Vincent had nine points, four rebounds and eight assists in the win.

For De Smet, Hazel Luethmers had 17 points, 10 rebounds, four steals and two assists, Audi Currier added eight points and six boards while Brooke Jennings recorded six points and seven rebounds in the loss.


Parkston 58, Elk Point-Jefferson 32 

PARKSTON — Keeara Oakley and Berkley Ziebart powered Class B No. 2 Parkston to a girls basketball win on Tuesday.

Oakley finished with 22 points, five steals and four rebounds. Oakley had 21 points, nine rebounds and three steals. Kennedy Knippling had five points and three steals. Morgan Maxwell had five points. 

For EPJ, Cera Schmitz scored eight points and grabbed six rebounds. Paige Jacobs scored seven points and added four rebounds. Molly Geary and Camryn Norris had five points apiece. 


Northwestern 30, Faulkton Area 27

MELLETTE — Northwestern edged Faulkton Area for a girls basketball win on Tuesday.

Ashley Haven totaled 15 points and four rebounds. Taylor Vetter added six points and seven rebounds. Sophia Troske had five points and four rebounds. Tara Blachford added seven rebounds.

For Faulkton Area, Anika Mueller totaled 16 points, seven rebounds and three 3-pointers. Presleigh Martinmaas had six points and seven rebounds. Brooklyn Mueller added five points and four rebounds.
