Todd County 59, Cheyenne-Eagle Butte 58

MISSION — Todd County edged Cheyenne-Eagle Butte for a boys basketball win on Friday.

Todd County’s Oniya Whirlwind Soldier finished with 24 points, while Chris Ellert added 17 points. Michael Black Lance had nine points and Reuben Iron Horse scored five points.

For CEB, Easton Lawrence recorded 16 points and Kobe White had 14 points. Jayden Marshall recorded eight points. Austin Johnson finished with six points, while Damien Clown scored five points.


Howard 66, Freeman 45

HOWARD — Three players scored in double figures to pace Class B No. 5 Howard to a boys basketball win over Class B No. 5 Freeman on Friday.

Howard’s Kolt Becker finished with 22 points and hit four 3-pointers. Luke Koepsell added 16 points, while Carson Hinker added 10 points. Lucas Feldhaus scored eight points and Austin Severson had six points.

For Freeman, David Walter finished with 13 points. Chris Aasen and Tate Sorensen scored eight points apiece. Luke Peters had five points. 

 

 

Viborg-Hurley 63, Pine Ridge 58

VIBORG — Nick Hanson’s 26-point double-double powered Class B No. 3 Viborg-Hurley to victory over Pine Ridge Friday.

Hanson finished with 26 points and 13 rebounds, Brady Schroedermeier had 19 points, four assists and three rebounds, while Owen Niederbaumer tallied 10 points and four rebounds in the win.

PR’s Marvin Richard III tallied 26 points while Anthony Steele had 13 points in the loss.


Iroquois/Lake Preston 67, Highmore-Harrold 55

IROQUOIS — Four players scored in double figures as Iroquois/Lake Preston defeated Highmore-Harrold in boys basketball action on Friday.

Lucas Peskey led the Sharks with 23 points, six rebounds and three assists. Ervin Carter added 15 points and 10 rebounds. Daunte Glanzer had 12 points and Peyton Hope scored 10 points. 

For Highmore-Harrold, Caleb Roth finished with 17 points. Miles McPeak had 10 points, while Aidan Ferens added nine points. Brooks McPeak finished with eight points.


Hamlin 74, Castlewood 52

HAYTI — Easton Neuendorf powered Class A No. 2 Hamlin to a boys basketball win over Class B No. 1 Castlewood on Friday. The Chargers nailed 15 3-pointers. 

Neuendorf finished with 34 points and hit five pointers. Jackson Wadsworth added 15 points and hit four 3-pointers. Evan Stormo added 11 points and nailed three 3-pointers. Zac VanMeeteren and Dawson Noem scored five points apiece.

For Castlewood, Bryon Laue finished with a team-high 17 points. Luke Baumberger added 11 points and Jamison Keszler scored 10 points. Brody Bass had nine points. 

 

Rapid City Christian 84, Shiloh Christian (N.D.) 57

BISMARCK, N.D. --- Class A No. 4 Rapid City Christian pulled away from a 41-38 halftime lead for a 27-point boys basketball win on Friday.

Rapid City Christian's Simon Kieffer and Benson Kieffer scored 22 points apiece. Julius Frog added 12 points and seven rebounds. Wes Schlabach had 11 points and 10 boards.


Parkston 49, Winner 37

WINNER — Two players scored in double figures as Parkston defeated Winner Friday in high school boys basketball action.

James Deckert powered the Trojans with 13 points and five rebounds, Brycen Bruening added 10 points and five rebounds, Grady Bowar totaled nine points, while Mason Jervik tallied three assists in the win.

Winner’s Carter Craven had 15 points and five rebounds, Ryder Halligan recorded nine points, Shawn Hammerbeck brought down eight rebounds, while Aiden Schroeder dished out four assists in the loss.


Ethan 61, Scotland-Menno 45

MENNO — Three players scored in double figures as Ethan knocked off Scotland-Menno Friday night.

Jack Bartscher led with 20 points while Davin Hohn and Jaxx Kurtenbach each had 10 points in the win.

Trent Guthmiller tallied 13 points and six rebounds for SM, Treyton Bult had seven points, while Kory Keppen tallied seven points and two steals in the loss.


Corsica-Stickney 40, Canistota 25

CORSICA — Tyson Wentland’s 29-point double-double powered Corsica-Stickney past Canistota Friday.

Wentland finished with 29 points and 13 rebounds and six blocks, Brock Hinker had five points and six rebounds, while Jarrett Olawsky recorded three points in the win.

Canistota’s Brady Scott had 15 points in the loss.


Deuel 73, Britton-Hecla 53

CLEAR LAKE — Four players scored in double figures in Deuel’s 20-point victory over Britton-Hecla Friday in high school boys basketball action.

Caden Finnesand tallied 22 points, Gabe Sather had 16 points, five rebounds and three steals, Troy Jenson recorded 13 points, five rebounds, four assists and four steals, while Jaxon Peterreins tallied 10 points, three rebounds and three steals in the win.

BH’s William Richer tallied 12 points, Graham Fosness tallied 12 points, Daniel Person totaled 11 points, while Chaz Vietor recorded six points in the loss.


Madison 57, Belle Fourche 23

MADISON — Ben Brooks and Casyn Crabtree combined for 27 points during Madison’s victory over Belle Fourche Friday.

Brooks finished with 13 points, five assists, three steals and two blocks, Crabtree added 14 points and two assists, Myles Schneider totaled seven points and two assists, while Henry Veenhof recorded five points and three rebounds in the win.

BF’s Sern Weishaar had eight points and three steals, Gabriel Raba had six points, while Martin Tatum tallied three points in the loss.


Bridgewater-Emery 61, Bon Homme 25

EMERY — Bridgewater-Emery coasted past Bon Homme for a boys basketball win on Friday.

BE’s Holden Wollmann finished with 18 points, while Jaxon Koch had 16 points. Ben Weber added 15 points.

Bon Homme stats were not reported. 


West Central 62, Hill City 45

HARTFORD — Will Kuhl powered West Central to a Friday high school boys basketball win.

Kuhl finished with 27 points, 11 rebounds and three steals. Luke Knight added 10 points and five rebounds. Connor Mebius had seven points, six rebounds and five assists. Kolte Garry added six rebounds and Hayden Heier had three assists. 

For Hill City, Devin Buehler scored a team-high 19 points. Zane Messick scored 15 points and Alex Stoeckmann added nine points.
