Brandon Valley 13, Rapid City Post 320 7

RAPID CITY — Brandon Valley pounded out 12 hits as it defeated Rapid City Post 320 in game one of a doubleheader Tuesday.

Ryder Mueller led BV with three RBIs on two hits, Ryland Carroll added two hits and two RBIs, Christopher Joseph drove in a run on two hits, one double, and one walk, Max Peters added two hits, Jack Blomgren drove in a two runs on one hit while Bryton Stroh and Brayden Knutson each drove in a run on one hit, combining for three walks in the win. Caleb Severin took the win on the mound allowing seven runs on 11 hits and a walk in six innings, striking out one.

For RC, Anders Lockhart allowed six runs on five hits and two walks in 3.1 innings, striking out two. Tegan Sayles drove in two runs on two hits, including a homer, Colby Wit added two RBIs on a hit, Nolan Williamson tallied an RBI double, while Ethan Wilson had two hits and an RBI in the loss.


Brandon Valley 11, Rapid City Post 320 1 (6 innings)

RAPID CITY — Ryland Carroll tossed six strong innings as Brandon Valley swept Rapid City in legion action Tuesday.

Carroll allowed one run on seven hits and two walks in six innings, striking out five. Carroll also added three RBIs on two hits, a double and a home run, with two walks in the win. Max Peters tallied three hits, two walks, and an RBI, Mason Veld drove in two runs on one hit, Jake Halseth tallied an RBI on two hits, Jack Blomgren tallied an RBI on one hit, while Brayden Knutson added three hits, one double, in the win.

For RC, Max Schoenhard allowed 10 runs on eight hits and three walks in 2.2 innings, striking out two. Tegan Sayles and Anders Lockhart each tallied two hits in the loss.


Scotland/Menno/Freeman/Canistota 14, Alexandria 0 (5 innings)

ALEXANDRIA — Scotland/Menno/Freeman/Canistota pounded out 15 hits as the 79ers defeated Alexandria in legion action Tuesday.

Easton Miller drove in three runs on two hits, Riley Tschetter and Rocky Ammann each added two RBIs on two hits, Bryce Sattler added three hits, Erick Buchler tallied two hits and an RBI, Evan Scharberg drove in two runs on a hit and a walk, Luke Peters netted one RBI on a hit and a walk, while Trent Guthmiller hit a solo home run in the win. Sattler took the victory on the mound allowing just two hits and a walk in five shutout innings, striking out four.

For Alexandria, Conner Endorf allowed 10 runs on eight hits and two walks in 2.2 innings. Brayden Bahmuller and Endorf each tallied a hit in the loss.

 

Tabor 11, Parkston 10 (8 innings)

TABOR — Landon Bares’ walk-off walk lifts Tabor to an extra-inning victory over Parkston Tuesday.

Bares drove in a run on two walks in the win, M Merkwan and J Toupal each drove in two runs on one hit, A Adler had an RBI on a hit and two walks, while C Mudder had a hit and two walks in the win. Major Aarstad took the victory on the mound in three innings of relief, allowing three runs on three hits and two walks in 3.2 innings, striking out two.

For Parkston, Kolter Kramer took the loss allowing one run on four walks in 1.2 innings, striking out three. Kash Neuegebauer drove in three runs on two hits, one double, Kramer added two hits and two doubles, Jaxx Kurtenbach tallied two hits and an RBI while Mason Jervik, Kaden Holzbauer and Drew Braley each drove in a run on one hit. James Deckert tallied two hits while Taite Klumb added a double and three walks as well.

 

Colton 7, Salem 3

COLTON — Colton jumped out to a 7-1 lead through the first three innings in its legion baseball victory over Salem Tuesday.

Alex Wingen drove in a run on two hits, Nathan Madison added two RBIs on one hit, Mason Hemme had an RBI on one hit while Parker Hemme tallied two hits in the win. Landon Schenkel earned the victory on the mound, allowing two runs on three hits and four walks in 4.1 innings, striking out three.

For Salem, Cody Lofswold allowed seven runs on six hits and a walk in three innings pitched, striking out three. Dawson Dorr drove in two runs on one hit while Lofswold drove in a run on one hit in the loss.


Clark/Willow Lake 13, Webster 0 (5 innings)

WEBSTER — Watson Grantham tossed a five inning shutout as Clark/Willow Lake beat Webster in legion baseball Tuesday.

Grantham allowed just two hits and one hit batter in five innings, striking out eight in the win. Cooper Pommer drove in four runs on two hits, one double, Jakob Steen and Damian Severson each drove in two runs on one hit, Jack Helken recorded an RBI on a hit and a walk while Ky Vandersnick tallied a double and two walks in the win.

For Webster, Blaize Amdahl allowed nine runs on four hits and six walks in 2.2 innings, striking out two. Jack Schoemaker and Sheldon Schmeig each tallied a hit in the loss.


Clark/Willow Lake 9, Webster 3 (5 innings)

WEBSTER — Clark/Willow Lake pounded out 15 hits as it swept Webster in a legion double header Tuesday.

Jack Helken and Jakob Steen each tallied three hits and two RBIs, Cooper Pommer and Watson Grantham each tallied two hits and an RBI, Colin Gaikowski drove in a run on one hit while Damian Severson tallied two hits in the win. Pommer earned the victory on the mound allowing one hit and two walks in 2.1 innings, striking out two.

For Webster, Sheldon Schmeig allowed nine runs on 15 hits and two walks in four innings, striking out four. Ian Lesnar drove in a run on one hit and one walk while Jake Shoemaker drove in a run in the loss as well.


Madison 9, Dell Rapids 6

DELL RAPIDS — A seven-run inning powered Madison to a legion baseball victory over Dell Rapids Tuesday.

Carson Wolf led the offense batting 2-for-4 with two RBIs, Jordan Pedersen added two RBIs on a double, Tregg McGillivray had two hits, a walk, and an RBI, Cale Johnson totaled an RBI on a double and a walk, while Ryland Johnson and Brock Olson each tallied an RBI in the win. Cohen Hahn allowed six runs on eight hits and three walks in seven innings, striking out two.

For DR, Lincoln Fersdahl allowed seven runs on four hits and four walks in 3.2 innings, striking out six. Gauge Bunkers and Drake Eastman each drove in a run on two hits, Talan Millage had two hits while Cole Ruesink tallied an RBI on one hit in the loss.


Milbank 6, Sisseton 0

SISSETON — Reese Rabe’s complete game shutout powered Milbank to a legion baseball victory Tuesday.

Rabe allowed just three hits and three walks in seven innings, striking out eight. Josh Pederson and Joe Schulte each tallied two hits and an RBI, including two doubles from Pederson, Nollen Sheeley drove in a run on three hits while Jayce Jonasen tallied an RBI on one hit in the win as well.

For Sisseton, Bradley Hansen allowed five runs on seven hits and a walk in three innings, striking out three. LJ Crooks tallied two hits while Reggie Lincoln added one hit in the loss.


Brookings 14, Volga 0 (5 innings)

VOLGA — Cooper Schneider drove in five runs as Brookings shutout Volga in legion baseball action Tuesday.

Schneider batted 3-for-3 with five RBIs, W Plummer batted 2-for-3 with a double, homer, and three RBIs, Tre Christopherson drove in two runs on two hits and a walk, while Tane Friedrich drove in a run on one hit and one walk in the win. Nolan Wagner allowed three hits and a walk in four shutout innings, striking out one.

For Volga, Kellon Tucker allowed four runs on three hits and three walks in three innings, striking out one. Braden Danzeisen, Levi Loban and Tucker each tallied hits in the loss.


Renner Royals 12, Sioux Falls East 1 (5 innings)

SIOUX FALLS — Renner pounded out 12 hits in the Royals mercy rule win over Sioux Falls East Tuesday.

Owen Lechtenberg and Rylan Arbogast each led the Royals with three hits and an RBI, Brogan Moffit drove in two runs on two hits, Jack Stukel and Sam Donohoe each tallied two RBIs, one hit, and one walk, while Brody Jacobsen and J Bjorkman each tallied an RBI on one hit in the win. Jacobson earned the victory on the mound allowing one run on three hits and two walks in five innings, fanning five batters.

For Sioux Falls East, Dietrich Haan allowed eight runs on 10 hits and a walk in 3.2 innings. Caden Sporrer drove in one run on a triple and a walk in the loss.


Sturgis 8, Spearfish 1

STURGIS — Brody Royer struck out seven batters as Sturgis defeated Spearfish in legion baseball action Tuesday.

Royer allowed just one run on two hits and five walks in 6.2 innings, fanning seven batters. Aidan Wood, Royer, and Carter Williams each drove in a run on one hit while Drew Janke added two hits in the win.

For Spearfish, Jack Branum allowed two runs on two hits and a walk in two innings, striking out two in the loss. Brock Lewis and Sean Sewell each tallied a hit while Branum drove in a run on two walks in the loss.

 

Sturgis 8, Spearfish 7

STURGIS — George Hamer’s walk-off single lifted Sturgis to a double header sweep over Spearfish Tuesday.

Hamer drove in a run on one hit in the win, Aidan Wood added three hits, two doubles, and two RBIs, Elijah Stroud collected two RBIs on one hit, Landon Lyons added two hits and an RBI, Drew Janke tallied two hits, one double, while Kjell Sundstrom tallied a hit and a walk in the win. Wood tossed most of the game for the Titans, allowing four runs on eight hits and five walks in 5.1 innings, striking out eight.

For Spearfish, Walker Viessman allowed eight runs on nine hits and a walk in six innings, striking out eight. Sean Sewell drove in two runs on three hits, Jack Scharf added two RBIs on one hit, while Jack Branum drove in a run on a double and a walk in the loss.


Watertown 9, Huron 7

HURON — A two-run seventh inning powered Watertown to a legion baseball victory over Huron Tuesday.

Nash Berg and Nathan Briggs each drove in two runs on two hits and a walk, Treyton Himmerich, Mitch Olson and Cole Hansen each drove in a run on one hit while Kaden Rylance and Carter Buisker each tallied two hits in the win. Buisker earned the victory on the mound, allowing one walk in one inning of relief, striking out one.

For Huron, Tommy Martin allowed two runs on four hits and one walk in three innings. Anderson Porisch drove in two runs on two hits, Layne Wenzel added two RBIs on a hit and a walk, while Bubba Peterson tallied an RBI double in the loss.


Watertown 18, Huron 3 (6 innings)

HURON — Nathan Briggs and C Hansen each drove in three runs as Watertown swept Huron in a double header Tuesday.

Briggs batted 2-for-4 with a walk and three RBIs, Hansen batted 2-for-2 with a walk and three RBIs, Kaden Rylance and Nash Berg each drove in two runs on a hit, Mitch Olson and Johnathan Lake each drove in a run on one hit, while Markus Pitkin had an RBI on two walks in the win. Ashton Rabine took the victory on the mound, allowing one run on three hits and two walks in three innings, striking out five.

For Huron, Jack Pederson allowed 10 runs on four hits and three walks in 1. 2 innings, striking out two. Bubba Peterson drove in two runs on a double while Trace Wenz had three hits in the loss.
