Colman A’s 15, Flandreau Blue Teal 14 

COLMAN — A Flandreau error led to a walk-off Cornbelt League win for Colman Tuesday.

Corey Roach led the A’s offense with six RBIs on three hits, a double, and two walks, Lance DeWitt had three RBIs on two hits, Colt Hawkins tallied two RBIs on a double and two walks, while Chase DeWitt collected an RBI on a hit and a walk in the win. Roach took the win on the mound, allowing four runs on nine hits and a walk in 5.2 innings, striking out 10.

For Flandreau, Tash Lunday allowed six runs on three hits and seven walks in 5.2 innings, striking out six. Tristen Peters drove in two runs on three hits, two doubles, Mason Riley batted 5-for-6 with a walk and two RBIs, Tanner Christenson added three hits, a double, walk and an RBI, Dane Mediger had two RBIs on two hits and a walk, Kolby Peters tallied two RBIs on a double, Micah Otto, Tristan Van Wassenhove and Sam Gassman each had an RBI on one hit, while Emmot Nathan tallied two hits in the loss.


Dimock/Emery Raptors 9, Wynot (Neb.) Expos 8

WYNOT, Neb. — Landon Waddell drove in four runs as Dimock-Emery clipped Wynot (Neb.) in a non-league amateur baseball game on Tuesday.

Waddell finished 4-for-6 for Dimock-Emery, which tallied 13 hits. Josh Engquist, Sam Pischke and Colton Plagmann had two hits apiece. Pischke drove in a run. Chase Arend, Brad Bartscher and Logan Koch each had hits. Arend, Bryce Smart, and Braydon Kreofsky each drove in runs. Kreofsky struck out 10 batters, allowed seven hits, six earned runs and walked six batters in eight innings. 


Parkston Mudcats 5, Lesterville Broncs 4

LESTERVILLE — Parkston clipped Lesterville in non-league amateur baseball action Tuesday.

Brady Bierma tossed four innings for the Mudcats, allowing three runs on two hits and four walks, striking out four. Will Jodozi led the offense with two RBIs on a hit, Jeff Harris, Kaleb Weber and Hayden Schroeder each drove in runs on one hit while Luke Bormann, Bierma and Jake Weber each had hits in the win.

For Lesterville, Karson Bierle allowed five runs on seven hits and four walks in nine innings pitched, striking out three. Tanner Skorepa drove in three runs on two hits, including a home run, Bierle added two walks and an RBI while Dawson Bietz, Michael Drotzmann and Jayce Walloch each had hits in the loss.


Flandreau Cardinals 3, Salem Cubs 1

FLANDREAU — A three-run third inning led Flandreau to a Cornbelt League victory over Salem Tuesday.

Keith Cutler led the Cardinals with two hits and two RBIs, Luke Gassman added an RBI single while Jacob Patterson and Beau Severtson each tallied doubles in the win. JaColby Anderson took the win on the mound in six innings, surrendering one run on four hits and one walk, fanning two batters.

For Salem, Luke Loudenburg allowed three runs on four hits and a walk in five innings, striking out three. Jacob Vonberge tallied two hits while Kyle Tuschen drove in a run on one hit in the loss.


Madison Dairy Queen Broncos 6, Dell Rapids Mudcats 3

DELL RAPIDS — JD Kirchner struck out 13 batters as Madison defeated the Dell Rapids Mudcats in Cornbelt League action Tuesday.

Kirchner gave up just three runs on five hits and five walks in a complete game on the mound, fanning 13 batters. Matt Burpee drove in two runs on two hits and a walk, Mitch McNary tallied two RBIs on one hit, Logan Albee had one RBI on a double while Dawson Bakker had two hits, one double, in the win.

For DR, Treyse Eastman took the loss, surrendering four runs on three hits and three walks in three innings pitched. Reece Arbogast drove in a run on one hit while Eastman had an RBI on a walk in the loss.


Canova Gang 9, Hartford/Humboldt Gamecocks 1

CANOVA — Derek Miller drove in three runs and recorded seven strikeouts on the mound in Canova’s Cornbelt League victory over the Gamecocks Tuesday.

Miller batted 2-for-3 with three RBIs at the plate while tossing all nine innings for Canova, allowing one unearned run on eight hits and three walks, striking out seven. Justin Miller and Garret Gassman each tallied two RBIs on two hits, Riley Genzlinger had two hits and a walk, while Jared Miller drove in two runs on a homer and a walk in the win.

For HH, Jonah Rechtenbaugh allowed nine runs on 10 hits and five walks in 7.1 innings, striking out seven. Joe Hanisch had an RBI on two hits while Cam Quigley and Blake Svoboda each had two hits in the loss.


Dell Rapids PBR 5, Hartford/Humboldt Wood Ducks 3

HUMBOLDT — Brett Mogen struck out 12 batters as PBR scored three runs in the ninth to stun the Wood Ducks in Cornbelt League action Tuesday.

Mogen allowed just three runs on six hits and one walk in 6.1 innings, striking out 12 to take the win on the mound. Drew Sweeter paced the PBR offense batting 4-for-5 with a triple and two RBIs, Zack Puetz and Nate Nichols each had an RBI on a double, while Riley Hoffman and Riley Calhoon each had two hits in the win.

For HH, Braden Herr allowed three runs on four hits in one inning. Braden Herr drove in a run on two hits while Brodie Herr tallied an RBI on one hit in the loss.


Garretson Blue Jays 11, Larchwood (Iowa) Diamonds 0 (7 innings)

GARRETSON — Seven players combined for 11 hits as Garretson blanked Larchwood in State Line League amateur baseball action on Tuesday.

Garretson’s Sam Siegel, Nick Bonte, Cole Koch and Scott Splett each had two hits. Nick Bonte and Splett each drove in two runs. Brady Bonte drove in three runs. Brett Fischer and Treyson Buckneberg added hits. Siegel earned the win after striking out two batters, allowing two hits, zero runs and one walk in six innings. 


Elk Point Colt .45’s 14, Lennox/Chancellor/Worthing Dirt Devils 4 (7 innings)

ELK POINT — Aiden Bobzin and Jay Merrigan each drove in three runs to power Elk Point to a State Line League victory over Lennox/Chancellor/Worthing Tuesday.

Bobzin batted 2-for-5 with a double and three RBIs, Merrigan had three RBIs on three hits, a double, and a walk, Ben Swatek and Cole Nachtigal each tallied three hits and an RBI, Kayden Moore had an RBI on a hit and a walk, Hunter Ingwerson totaled an RBI on one hit while John Gale added two RBIs on two hits and a walk in the win. Logan Bobzin took the win on the mound, allowing four runs on six hits and four walks in six innings, striking out nine batters.

For LCW, Dylan Vosburg allowed seven runs on 10 hits and three walks in four innings, striking out eight batters. Isaac Bambas and Brett Duncan each drove in two runs on home runs in the loss.


Harrisburg Woodies 10, Sioux City (Iowa) Futures 0 (7 innings)

SIOUX CITY — Tyler Mitzel struck out 10 batters as Harrisburg blanked the Sioux City Futures in non-league action Tuesday.

Mitzel tossed five shutout innings, allowing just three hits while tossing 10 strikeouts to take the win on the mound. Jack Sutton drove in a run on one hit while Mitzel, Kole Zimmerman and Nathan Motl each drove in a run, combining for four walks. As a team, the Woodies drew 12 walks in the  win.
