Rapid City Post 22 8, Williston (N.D.) 7

RAPID CITY — Kain McLeod’s RBI single lifted the Rapid City Post 22 over Williston in the first game of Tuesday’s doubleheader.

Rapid City scored six runs in the final inning to earn the walk-off win. McLeod scored two runs on the final hit, Blayn Hunt drove in four runs on two hits, including a double and a homer, Wyatt Reeder drove in a run on two hits and a walk while Carter Johnson added an RBI on one hit and one walk in the win. Skyler Montgomery earned the win on the mound in 1.2 innings of relief, allowing one run on one hit and two walks.


Rapid City Post 22 11, Williston (N.D.) 1 (5 innings)

RAPID CITY — Wyatt Reeder drove in five runs as the Hardhats swept Williston during Tuesday’s Legion baseball roundup.

Reeder tallied five RBIs on four hits, including two home runs in the win, Aiden Roberts drove in two runs on two hits while Dexter Steen collected an RBI on a triple and two walks in the win. Dawson Inhofer allowed one run on three hits and two walks in three innings pitched to take the win.


Harrisburg 10, Brandon Valley 4

BRANDON — Noah Boschee drove in three runs during Harrisburg’s win over Brandon Valley in Legion baseball Tuesday night.

Boschee tallied three runs on two hits, a double, and a walk, Ethan Beek collected two hits, two walks, and two RBIs, Eli Kokenge drove in a run on three walks while Taten Munce, Michael Oakland, Kade Wede and Rylan Boe each tallied one RBI on one hit and one walk in the win. Ty Ryamond took the victory on the mound in two innings of relief, allowing one walk while striking out one.

For BV, Cooper Ness drove in a run on one hit, Max Peters tallied a double and two walks while Brayden Knutson scored a run on two walks. Luke Felderman allowed seven runs on seven hits and three walks in two innings of work, striking out two for BV.


Clark/Willow Lake 5, Redfield 2

CLARK — Tyson Huber struck out nine batters during Clark/Willow Lake’s victory over Redfield Tuesday in Legion baseball action.

Huber earned the victory on the mound in 5.1 innings of work, allowing two runs on five hits and four walks, fanning nine batters. Jakob Steen drove in two runs on a double while Cooper Pommer and Josh Kannegieter each tallied RBIs on one hit in the win.

For Redfield, Hunter Binger allowed five runs on seven hits and three walks in six innings pitched. Chase Odland tallied three hits in the loss, Kevin Weller drove in a run on one hit while Tate Nueharth tallied an RBI on a walk in the loss.


Huron 4, Aberdeen Smittys 1

HURON — Huron scored all four runs in the first inning to beat Aberdeen during Tuesday’s Legion baseball action.

Oakley Anderson and Anderson Porisch each drove in two runs on one hit, including a triple from Anderson, while Gabe Waldner drove in two runs on one hit in the win. Bubba Peterson earned the victory on the mound, allowing just one run on four hits and three walks in five innings pitched, striking out five batters.

For Aberdeen, Joe Cogley allowed four runs on two hits and three walks to take the loss for the Smittys, while Ridley Waldo drove in a run on two hits and a walk in the loss.


Huron 18, Aberdeen Smittys 8

HURON — Trace Wenz drove in four runs on four hits as Huron hit past Aberdeen in Legion baseball action on Tuesday. 

Wenz finished 4-for-5, scored two runs and smacked a triple. Cooper Bischoff had three hits and drove in three runs. Chase Schuchardt had two hits and knocked in three runs. Anderson Porisch added three hits and drove in a run. Bubba Peterson had two hits and drove in two runs. Brady Feenstra struck out two batters, allowed three hits, three earned runs and walked two batters in two relief innings to earn the win. 

For Aberdeen, Talan Dutenhoffer had two hits and drove in a run. Jaxon Ladner and Grant Beyer each drove in two runs. Cooper Eisenbeisz struck out three batters, allowed six hits, six earned runs and walked one batter in 2.2 relief innings. 


Madison 6, Lake Norden/Badger 1

MADISON — Casyn Crabtree threw six strong innings as Madison defeated Lake Norden/Badger during Tuesday’s Legion baseball action.

Crabtree allowed just one run on three hits in six innings pitched, striking out six batters. Jordan Pedersen and Ryland Johnson each tallied RBIs on one hit and one walk, Quincy Kurtz drove in two runs on a triple while Tregg McGillivray added an RBI on two walks in the win.

For LNB, Turner Stevenson allowed five runs on three hits and three walks in 2.1 innings. Aiden Abraham drove in the lone run on one hit in the loss.


Renner Royals 5, Brookings 4

BROOKINGS — Brogan Moffit drove in three runs as Renner defeated Brookings during Tuesday’s Legion baseball action.

Moffit totaled three RBIs on a home run while Patrick Barnett and Zach Barr each drove in a run on one hit and one walk in the win. Paxton Sohn earned the victory on the mound allowing four runs on three hits and six walks in 5.1 innings, striking out eight batters.

For Brookings, Tyson Antonen allowed five runs on six hits and five walks in six innings pitched, fanning six batters. Nolan Krogman, Cooper Schneider and Antonen each tallied hits in the loss.


Brookings 5, Renner Royals 0 

BROOKINGS — Nolan Wagner threw a two-hit shutout as Brookings blanked Renner in Tuesday’s Legion baseball action. 

Wagner struck out three batters and issued two walks on 88 pitches. Cooper Schneider drove in four runs, while Tre Christopherson, Maxten Jensen, Jon Kahler and Nolan Krogman each had hits. 

For Renner, Jackson Bjorkman and Owen Lechtenberg each had hits. Brody Jacobson struck out four batters, allowed four earned runs and walked two batters in his five-inning start. 


Colton 5, Salem 1

SALEM — Tristen Bunde tossed five strong innings for Colton in its win over Salem in Legion baseball action Tuesday.

Bunde allowed just one run on two hits and two walks in five innings pitched while striking out seven batters. Alex Wingen drove in a run on one hit and one walk while Braxton Allen collected two hits in the win for Colton.

For Salem, Carter Randall allowed five runs on four hits and four walks in five innings pitched, striking out four batters. Cody Lofswold drove in the only run of the game for Salem.

 

Brandon Valley 6, Harrisburg 2

BRANDON — Ryland Carroll struck out 10 batters as Brandon Valley defeated Harrisburg during Tuesday’s Legion baseball action.

Carroll allowed just two runs on three hits and three walks in six innings pitched, striking out 10 to earn the victory on the mound. Max Peters drove in two runs on one hit and one walk, Jack Blomgren drove in a run on two hits and two walks while Brayden Knutson tallied an RBI on one hit and one walk in the win.

For Harrisburg, Rylan Boe took the loss allowing four runs on three hits and three walks in 1.2 innings. Taten Munce drove in a run on one hit in the loss.


Alexandria 13, Parkston 3 (5 innings)

ALEXANDRIA — AJ Wilber’s two-run home run capped off a mercy rule victory for Alexandria Tuesday in Legion baseball action.

AJ Wilber drove in three runs in the win, Ben Wilber drove in three runs on two hits, Brayden Bahmuller had two RBIs on three walks, while Esten Schlimgen collected two RBIs on one hit and one walk in the win. Tyler Sanderson earned the victory on the mound allowing three runs on four hits and two walks in five innings pitched, striking out nine batters.

For Parkston, Taite Klumb took the loss, surrendering seven runs on four hits and seven walks in three innings. James Deckert drove in a run on two hits in the loss.


Wagner 9, Scotland/Menno/Freeman/Canistota 6

WAGNER — Wagner scored four unanswered runs to stun Scotland/Menno/Freeman/Canistota during Tuesday’s Legion baseball action.

Edward Ulrich totaled two hits and two RBIs, Joey Cournoyer tallied two RBIs on one hit and one walk, Carter Cournoyer added one double, one walk and one RBI, while Frank Soukup, Dominic Doom, Landon Mudder, and Beauregard Otte each drove in a run on a combined five walks in the win. Brady Cournoyer earned the victory on the mound allowing just two walks in two shutout innings of relief.

For SMFC, Riley Tschetter allowed four runs on seven walks in 2.1 innings, striking out six batters. Tschetter tallied two hits, a homer, a walk, and an RBI, Rocky Ammann added two RBIs on a double, Bryce Sattler tallied two hits while Trent Guthmiller drove in a run on one hit in the loss.
