DELL RAPIDS — The Dell Rapids Mudcats blanked cross-town foe Dell Rapids PBR in Cornbelt League action on Tuesday

Kole Zimmerman and Dalton Allen both hit two-run homers in the fourth inning. Spencer Freudenthal added a solo home run. 

Dimock-Emery Raptors 16, Sioux Falls Brewers 8 

SIOUX FALLS — Dimock-Emery racked up 20 hits in a non-league amateur baseball win on Tuesday.

Sam Pischke led the way with four hits and five RBI. Peyton Nash added four hits and drove in two runs. Jason Schmidt added three hits, drove in two runs and smacked a home run. Landon Waddell had three hits and drove in a run. Drew Kitchens, Gene Kitchens, Sam Arend, Chase Arend, Josh Engquist and Sawyer Schultz each had hits. Engquist earned the win, allowing six hits, four earned runs, one walk and struck out three batters.

For the Brewers, Ian Strum and Alejandro Cortina each hit home runs. Strum finished with four hits and drove in two runs. Cortina added three hits and knocked in five runs. Bryce Ahrendt took the loss, allowing 15 hits, nine earned runs and struck out seven batters in seven innings.
