BURKE — Kimball/White Lake’s Autumn Baker and Mitchell Christian’s Silas Holdeman captured individual titles at Wednesday’s Region 3B cross-country meet.

Baker covered the 5,000-meter distance at the Burke Golf Club in 19 minutes and 30 seconds, followed by teammates Alli McCord (19:55) and Lily Baker (20:30). Sanborn Central/Woonsocket’s Emrie VonEye (20:44) and Mitchell Christian’s Laura Nemec (20:48) rounded out the top-five girls runners. 

Holdeman won the boys race in 16:30, followed by teammates Luke Mentele (16:43) and Sawyer Holdeman (17:15). Gregory’s Luke Barreto (17:46) and Freeman’s Lane McCune (18:02) rounded out the top-five boys runners.

The KWL girls won the team title, finishing with six points. Mitchell Christian (28) and Burke (35) rounded out the top-three teams. Mitchell Christian won the boys title with six points, followed by Freeman (23) and Gregory (38).
