Clark/Willow Lake sweeps team titles at Lake Central Conference Meet

ARLINGTON — The Clark/Willow Lake golf teams swept the team titles at Monday’s Lake Central Conference Meet at Lake Region Golf Course.

The Cyclones’ girls team shot a 262 to win the team title, ahead of Sioux Valley (290) and De Smet (311), while the boys team notched a 251 to win the title, ahead of Hamlin (265 and De Smet (266).

CWL’s Brynn Roehrich captured the individual championship on the girls side shooting a 76, ahead of teammate Faith Roehrich (84). Deuel’s Kinsley Ronne and Sioux Valley’s Aby Degen each shot a 94 while SV’s Taylor Bastian rounded out the top-5 individually with a 96.

On the boys side, CWL’s Cade Gaikowski secured the individual title with an 80 in 18 holes, just ahead of Hamlin’s Aiden Abraham (81). The Cyclones’ Wyatt Schlagel (85), De Smet’s Maxxon Kees (85) and CWL’s Maverick Clausen (86) rounded out the top-5.
