HARRISBURG — Harrisburg’s Josalyn Samuels announced her verbal commitment to the University of Nebraska on June 15.

The 6-foot-2 setter in the Class of 2028 finished up her sophomore year helping Harrisburg to a 35-2 record, capturing its fourth-consecutive Class AA state championship.

Samuels recorded 1,050 assists, 166 digs, 93 kills and 58 blocks last season.

The three-time all-stater is just shy of 3,000 career assists with 2,974, along with 491 digs, 246 kills and 127 aces in her career.
