EAGLE BUTTE — Aberdeen Central scored over 300 points on the way to winning the Region 3A wrestling tournament Saturday.

The Golden Eagles scored 302 points, ahead of Pierre (225) and Madison (212). Mitchell (132) and Chamberlain (128.5) rounded out the top five teams. 

Jackson Dargatz (106), Esten Foss (113), Will Allen (126), Tate Huff (138), Ridley Waldo (144), Mason Schrempp (157), Elias Biegler (165), Grayden Timm (175) and Cole  Dunlavy (190) all won region titles for Aberdeen Central. 

Other region titles were claimed by Mitchell’s Noah Bennett (120), Pierre’s Alex Oedekoven (132), Huron’s Moses Gross (150), Pierre’s Elijah Boutchee and Madison’s Ashten Dorhout (285).
