Corsica-Stickney 3, Colome 0

COLOME — Corsica-Stickney swept Colome in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-11, 25-19 and 25-13.


Platte-Geddes 3, Ethan 1 

ETHAN — Platte-Geddes topped Ethan in a four-set high school volleyball match on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-19, 19-25, 25-15 and 25-21.

Platte-Geddes’ Karly VanDerWerff and Karly VanZee finished with 21 kills apiece. Emerson Ringling added 12 kills. Kory VanDerWerff had eight kills. Baleigh Nachtigal logged 37 assists. Hadley Hanson added 29 digs. Karly VanDerWerff posted 12 digs and Halle Sprik posted 11 digs. Karly VanDerWerff finished with two aces and two block assists. Kory VanDerWerff and Ringling added two block assists apiece. 

Ethan stats were not reported. 


Miller 3, Highmore-Harrold 0

HIGHMORE — Miller swept Highmore-Harrold in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-2, 25-13 and 25-21.

Miller’s Aleah Schlechter finished with 10 kills and five digs. Paige Werdel added 10 kills. Kate Lichty and Olivia Resel posted three kills apiece. Heather Resel had 16 assists and Oliva Resel had four assists. Jolie Palmer finished with 19 digs, while Shaylee Anderberg had 10 digs. Journey Palmer posted five digs. Anderberg had six aces.

For Highmore-Harrold, Kenidey Effling had three kills, 13 digs and one ace. Reghan Westcott logged two kills and Brooklyn Baloun posted six assists. Morgan McCloud added 11 digs. Kendall Cermak and Jada Baloun each had one block. 


Mount Vernon/Plankinton 3, Sanborn Central/Woonsocket 0

WOONSOCKET — Mount Vernon/Plankinton swept Sanborn Central/Woonsocket in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-15, 25-13 and 25-16.

MVP’s Maryssa VanGorp finished with 17 digs, while Madalyn Lorang posted three aces and five kills. Clara Fink and Vanessa Hoffman had five kills apiece. Hoffman added 20 assists. Reagan Rus had nine kills and one block. 

SCW stats were not reported. 


Wilmot 3, Britton-Hecla 2

WILMOT — Wilmot slipped past Britton-Hecla in a five-set thriller Tuesday that closed the regular season for both teams. Set scores were 21-25, 22-25, 25-22, 25-12 and 15-13. 

Addison Heinje powered the Wolves Tuesday with 16 kills, two assists and one block. Jada Cameron finished with 11 kills, two blocks, two aces and one assist. Julia Anderson added four kills and one ace and Mya Heinje led with seven assists while also having an ace. Stacia Redday had one ace and four assists for Wilmot. 

Stats for Britton-Hecla were not reported..



Hitchcock-Tulare 3, Wessington Springs 0

TULARE — Hitchcock-Tulare swept Wessington Springs in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-14, 25-11 and 25-13.

Hitchcock-Tulare’s Katelyn Schroeder finished with 21 kills, 14 digs and three block assists. Rebecca Huizenga posted 10 kills. Lila Johnson recorded 32 assists and four aces. Gracyn Bixler had four assists. Cambree Hoekman logged 13 digs. Isabel Gilbert added two aces. 

For Wessington Springs, Alyssa Grohs finished with 10 assists and 12 digs. Addy Orth posted four kills. Raylee Fagerhaug had 10 digs and five kills. Remie Roduner had two aces and Caroline Witte had a solo block. 


Chester 3, Bridgewater-Emery 0

CHESTER — Class B No. 2 Chester swept Bridgewater-Emery in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-18, 25-14 and 25-9.

Chester’s Jacy Wolf 11 kills, 15 digs and seven assists. Emmerson Eppard posted nine kills and one ace. Lily Van Hal added 28 assists, 11 digs and eight aces. Katelyn Huntimer recorded 13 digs. 

For Bridgewater-Emery, Hayden Hofer and Oakley Weber posted five kills apiece. Hofer added eight assists and two aces. Weber had nine assists. Kennedie Roskens finished with 15 digs, while Maizey Strombeck had 11 digs. 


Colman-Egan 3, Dell Rapids St. Mary 0

COLMAN — Class B No. 5 Colman-Egan swept Dell Rapids St. Mary in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-21, 25-12 and 25-19.

Colman-Egan’s Daniela Lee finished with 12 kills, 12 digs and one solo block. Brynlee Landis posted 10 kills. Lanie Mousel added 19 assists and 18 digs. Anna Zwart logged eight kills. Kaylee Voelker had 18 assists and 13 digs. Elaine Rhode recorded four kills. 

For DRSM, Brianna Griffin finished with 10 kills. Brianna Lindeman had 26 assists and two aces. Jenna Miller had 26 digs. 


Arlington 3, De Smet 0

ARLINGTON — Arlington swept De Smet in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-15, 25-20 and 25-21.

Arlington’s Jo Steffensen finished with 13 kills and three aces, while Addie Steffensen recorded 11 kills and 16 digs. Issie Steffensen recorded 31 assists. Harley Johnson added 20 digs and four aces. Jaelyn Huntimer had three aces and two blocks. 

De Smet’s Hazel Luethmers recorded 12 kills and two blocks. Megan Dylla added four aces, nine digs and 12 assists. Alyssa Asleson had five assists and 11 digs. Brooke Jennings and Mirra Beck had three kills apiece. 


Florence-Henry 3, Waubay-Summit 0

FLORENCE — Florence-Henry swept Waubay-Summit in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-11, 25-7 and 25-13.

Florence-Henry’s Caylin Kelly recorded 19 kills, two blocks and three aces. Kate Hulscher recorded 10 kills and three block assists. Taylor Watson added eight kills and 12 digs. Ashlyn Vavruska had 27 assists and 12 digs. Kaylee Vavruska recorded 14 digs. 

Waubay-Summit stats were not reported. 


Elkton-Lake Benton 3, Sioux Valley 1

ELKTON — Elkton-Lake Benton wrapped up their regular season with a four-set win over Sioux Valley on Tuesday night. Set scores were 25-12, 22-25, 25-20 and 25-15. 

Andrea Renkly led Elkton-Lake Benton with 13 kills, two aces, two block assists and eight digs. Tevan Erickson dished out 37 assists, led with three aces, added nine kills, four assisted blocks and 19 digs. Kylie Ramlo had an ace, an assist, fivekills, ten block assists and 18 digs. Aubree Bales added an ace, nine kills, three block assists and ten digs.

For Sioux Valley, Kaedyn Sapp led with 14 kills, two aces, two blocks, two block assists and 15 digs. Sunny Hesby finished with 17 assists and ten digs while Machaela Gerasch had 17 assists and 13 digs.


Redfield 3, Tiospa Zina 0

REDFIELD — Redfield swept Tiospa Zina in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-9, 25-23 and 25-10.

Redfield’s Katie Rozell finished with 17 kills and 15 digs. Charli Jungwirth posted eight kills and two aces. Chloe Zens posted three aces, while Hayden Gall added 19 assists and nine digs. Kinley Smith had a block assist.

Tiospa Zina stats were not reported. 


Hamlin 3, Clark/Willow Lake 0

HAMLIN — Hamlin ended their regular season with a three-set sweep of Clark/Willow Lake. Set scores were 26-24, 25-8 and 25-19.

Addison Neuendorf powered the Hamlin attack Tuesday with 12 kills and 11 assists. Marissa Bawdon led with 18 assists with Grace Opdahl nailing three aces and having six digs. Emely Everson and Kayde Nebel each had blocks for Hamlin. 

Tehya Vig and Sara Thornvold were both perfect from the service line with Thornvold adding a team-leading 30 digs. Hannah Heiman finished with three kills with Haylee Tormanen leading with three blocks. 


Milbank 3, Webster Area 0

MILBANK — Milbank swept Webster Area in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-15, 25-23 and 25-23.

Milbank’s Rachel Schulte finished with 15 kills and 20 digs. Skyler Skoog added nine kills and 17 digs. Shaylee Schuchard posted six kills. Siera Wenzl added three aces and 17 digs. Addison Krause posted 13 assists. Ella Sandvig finished with 20 digs. 

Webster Area stats were not reported. 


Dell Rapids 3, Beresford 0

DELL RAPIDS — Class A No. 2 Dell Rapids swept Beresford in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-17, 25-7 and 25-12.

Dell Rapids’ Lauryn Kloth finished with 10 kills, five aces and two blocks. Madelynn Henry added eight kills, three aces and one block. Elin Schoenhard posted six kills. Sophi Randall recorded 20 assists, five kills, two blocks and four digs. 

No Beresford stats were reported. 


Elk Point-Jefferson 3, Vermillion 0

ELK POINT — Elk Point-Jefferson swept Vermillion in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-17, 25-11 and 25-10.

EPJ’s Bentlee Kollbaum posted 13 kills and 15 digs. Grace Peed added seven kills and five digs. Ashley Brewer logged six kills, five blocks and four digs. Natalie Huertz had four kills, two digs and two blocks. Hannah Nearman added 14 digs, while Cera Schmitz finished with 10 digs and one ace. Courtney Brewer had 28 assists, six digs and three aces. 

No Vermillion stats were reported. 


Sioux Falls Washington 3, Sioux Falls Jefferson 2

SIOUX FALLS — Class AA No. 3 Sioux Falls Washington outlasted Class AA No. 2 Sioux Falls Jefferson in a five-set volleyball match on Tuesday. The set scores were 16-25, 25-22, 25-19, 18-25 and 15-11.

Jefferson’s Isabel Simmons finished with 13 kills and four digs. Emory Brosnahan added 11 kills and 11 digs. Lizzy Spah and Mya Hejl had 10 kills apiece. Presly Pastian added 20 digs and 36 assists, while Averi Schmitt had 11 digs. Ella Kvernmo posted 21 digs. Cora Hokenstad added 38 digs. Hokenstad, Brosnahan, Pastian and Brooke Bowen had three aces apiece.
