Pierre High School graduate and North Dakota State University senior offensive lineman Grey Zabel is the Missouri Valley Football Conference offensive lineman of the week. It’s the second time this season Zabel has received the honor. 

A 6-foot-6, 305-pound lineman, Zabel graded out at 94 percent with zero missed assignments, led the Bison offensive line in physicality points, and did not allow any tackles for loss, sacks or quarterback hits in a 42-19 win over Northern Iowa on Nov. 2. 

NDSU averaged 5.1 yards per carry, rushed for 189 yards in the game, and converted 7 of 10 third down opportunities to improve to 9-1 overall and 6-0 in the conference.

NDSU redshirt freshman running back CharMar Brown was also named the Newcomer of the Week for the fourth time this season. He had his third 100-yard rushing game of the season with 18 carries for 124 yards and one touchdown. He averaged 6.9 yards per carry.
