RAPID CITY — After day one of the Rapid City Invitational wrestling tournament the Pierre Governors lead the standings with a number of Class A teams still in contention. 

The Governors have 82 points, leading Watertown (78.5) and Rapid City Stevens (76.5). Sturgis (74) and Tea Area (63) round out the top-five. 

Several Class B schools are doing well. Custer and Winner Area are tied for 11th, each school scoring 49 points. Philip/Kadoka Area/Wall Badlands Brawlers are in 14th place with 44.5 points.
