RAPID CITY — Rapid City Stevens’ Sylvie Mortimer was a double-winner at Thursday’s West River Last Chance Meet. 

Mortimer won the 100-meter hurdles (14.96) and the 300-meter hurdles (46.45). Ella Bradeen of Stevens won the 200-meter dash as well (24.88). Whitli Adams won the 3,200-meter run (12:23.14). Claire Ashley took the javelin throw for the Raiders (119-09) while Ava Holzwarth led the long jump (19-3.50). Shekinah Digler rounded out the top spots for Stevens winning the triple jump (33-06).

Stevens’ quartet of Maya Khachikian, Riley Willet, Ava Holzwarth and Ella Bradeen took the girls 400-meter relay (47.83) as well as the 800-meter relay (1:42.33).

Sturgis Brown’s Avery Marler won the 100-meter dash (12.38).

Hot Springs’ Ashlynnn Elshere led the girls 400-meter dash (59.64).

Spearfish’s Peyton VanDeest won the 800-meter run (2:15.89).

Rapid City Central’s Hadley Temple took the 1,600-meter run (5:46.99). Central’s Skyler Huber, Macy Copeland, Izzy Fischer and Avery Young won the girls 1,600 meter relay (4:16.58) as well.

Hill City’s Lillie Ham won the high jump event (5-04). Abigail Flanegan led the girls shot put (37-11).

Custer’s Kelsey Stiefel notched the top spot in the girls pole vault event (12-0) while Emma Halverson, Makenzi Ham, Mikayla Dennis and Ava Miller took the girls 3,200-meter relay (10:36.93).

St. Thomas More’s Giada Slusarksi, Ainsley Eide, Jenna Elder and Monica Moran won the sprint medley relay (4:44.38).

Rapid City Christian’s Kayla Dilka won the girls discus throw (120-09).

In boys action, Central’s Sean Smith claimed the 100-meter dash (11.36) while Henry Hill took the 300-meter hurdles (39.39). Braedon Isler won the high jump event (6-02). Central’s Hill, Smith, Zayden Gering and Logan Soderlin took the 1,600-meter relay (3:28.87) while the quartet of Preston Yellow, Teotl Watters, Isler and Yadriel Munoz claimed the sprint medley relay (3:45.58).

Stevens’ Jack Day took the 110-meter hurdles (14.78) while Marcus Kuehl won the 300-meter hurdles (22.45). Miles Brekhus won the 800-meter run (1:57.90), Elias Gillen took the discus throw (172-00) and the shot put event (56-07.50), while Elijah Sturis claimed the top spot in the boys long jump (21-05) for the Raiders. Stevens also won the 400-meter relay (43.15) with Liam LaCurrubba, JonPaul Sullivan, Jack Day and Marcus Kuehl. LaCarrubba, Sullivan, Nolan Long and Kuehl won the 800-meter relay as well (1:29.49).

Hill City’s Dax Frandsen took the boys 400-meter dash (49.75). Tate Grabow claimed the 1,600 run for the Rangers (4:24.47).

Sturgis Brown’s Ty Petrocco took the 3,200-meter run (9:51.19).

Custer’s Roland Sedlacek led the boys javelin toss (163-03) while Kincade Lehman added first-place finish in the triple jump event (47-01).

Lead-Deadwood’s Cruz Mollman took the top spot in the pole vault (13-07).

The Hot Springs quartet of Dain Alldredge, Johnny Bossingham, Canton Gingrass and Lyle Roberts claimed the boys 3,200-meter run (8:53.41).
