HOWARD — Howard swept James Valley Christian in Monday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-23, 25-23 and 25-14.

Howard’s Kate Connor finished with 13 kills and two blocks. Abby Aslesen added eight kills and two aces. Rylee Rudebusch finished with 21 assists and one ace. Canyon Kidd logged 20 digs, while Marina Kollmann had 14 digs. Piper Thompson posted 12 digs. 

JVC’s Regan Rink posted nine kills, nine assists, three blocks and three aces. Alexa Goertz added three kills. Kaylie Robinson and Dani Frandsen finished with nine and four assists, respectively. Robinson posted one block and 10 digs. Colleen Wipf had 13 digs and two aces. 

Sioux Falls Lutheran 3, Dell Rapids St. Mary 1

DELL RAPIDS — Sioux Falls Lutheran picked up a high school volleyball win over Dell Rapids St. Mary on Monday. The set scores were 25-16, 26-24, 19-25, and 25-23.

Sioux Falls Lutheran’s Emma Stubkjaer led with 13 kills and 12 digs, while Rylee Steuerwald tallied seven kills, four blocks, and 17 digs. Sophie Stubkjaer recorded 28 assists and six kills, while Isabella Stubkjaer had 22 digs, while Kiersten Bjordahl added four aces.

DRSM’s Maya Heinitz led with 15 kills and 25 digs, while Megan Geraets and Emy Herber each had seven kills. Brianna Lindeman tallied 36 assists, while Madala Hanson and Whitney Warwick added 25 and 15 digs, respectively.
