Wagner 3, Platte-Geddes 0

WAGNER — Class A No. 3 Wagner swept Platte-Geddes in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-22, 26-24 and 26-24.

Wagner’s Ashlyn Koupal recorded 14 kills, 14 digs and one ace. Kya Kjeldgaard posted two aces, 12 kills and 21 digs. Macy Koupal chipped in with two aces, 13 digs and 30 assists. Aubrey Medricky had five blocks, while Shona Kocer and Ravyn Medricky had four blocks apiece. 

For Platte-Geddes, Karly VanDerWerff finished with 10 kills, seven digs, four blocks and four aces. Cadence VanZee and Emerson Ringling had four kills apiece. Hadley Hanson added 17 digs and three aces. Halle Sprik had eight digs. Baleigh Nachtigal posted 19 assists. 


Estelline-Hendricks 3, Colman-Egan 2

COLMAN — Estelline-Hendricks outlasted Class B No. 5 Colman-Egan for a Tuesday high school volleyball win. The set scores were 23-25, 25-16, 25-22, 23-25 and 15-3.

Estelline-Hendricks’ Kenzy Beare finished with 28 kills, 18 digs, four blocks and three aces. Brooke Johnson added 10 kills. Sadie Johnson posted 34 assists and 41 digs. Presly Binger finished with 12 assists and 30 digs. 

For Colman-Egan, Daniela Lee posted 14 kills and 15 digs. Brynlee Landis added five kills and 18 digs. Lanie Mousel recorded 16 assists, while Presley Luze posted 34 digs. Kaylee Voelker added 16 assists and 13 digs. Elaina Rhode had six kills and two blocks. 


Northwestern 3, Herreid/Selby Area 0

MELLETTE — Class B No. 3 Northwestern swept Herreid/Selby Area in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-21, 25-19 and 25-21.

Northwestern’s Ashley Haven finished with 21 kills, 34 digs, three aces and three block assists. Ella Boekelheide added six kills, 29 assists, 19 digs and two block assists. Ana Ratigan logged five kills. Taylor Vetter finished with 15 digs and one ace. 

For HSA, Mya Ebel recorded nine kills and 27 digs. Jordyn Rossow added eight kills and three blocks. Jada Rossow posted seven kills, three blocks and three aces. Sophia Ritter finished with 22 assists. Steph Allbee had 30 digs, while Pausha Meidinger had 21 digs and two aces. 


Warner 3, Miller 0

MILLER — Class B No. 1 Warner swept Miller in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-18, 25-16 and 25-16.

Warner’s Kyleigh Schopp posted 11 kills and two aces. Kyra Marcuson logged nine kills, while Lauren Marcuson added two aces, seven kills and 10 digs. Courtney Bjorgaard finished with four aces and 14 digs. Libby Scepaniak had 15 assists. 

For Miller, Aleah Schlechter finished with seven kills and one digs. Shaylee Anderberg added six kills and four digs. Paige Werdel recorded five kills. Heather Resel recorded 17 assists. Jolie Palmer posted 20 digs. 


Mobridge-Pollock 3, North Central 0

MOBRIDGE — Mobridge-Pollock improved to 5-0 on the season with a sweep of North Central in high school volleyball action Tuesday. Set scores were 25-13,25-18 and 25-17.  

As a team the Tigers finished with 20 kills as Ella Batie led the way with seven of those kills. Sidney Bertsch dished out 14 assists and Natalie Bieber had three blocks while Amree Vander Leest added two blocks. 

North Central’s Charley Henderson led with 10 kills and an ace. Katy Kemitz and Sophie Overland combined for 32 set assists. 


Hitchcock-Tulare 3, Faulkton Area 1

TULARE — Hitchcock-Tulare defeated Faulkton Area in a four-set high school volleyball match on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-22, 25-21, 23-25 and 25-11.

Hitchcock-Tulare’s Katelyn Schroeder finished with two assists, 15 kills and 18 digs. Ella Johnson added nine kills. Lila Johnson recorded 30 assists, while Gracelyn Bixler had two aces. Cambree Hoekman logged 22 digs. Isabel Gilbert had a block.

For Faulkton Area, Carley Cotton posted 16 kills and 27 digs. Addison Melius had 28 digs. Micah Martinmaas had 21 assists, while Tegan Baloun posted 15 assists. Anna Aesoph added two aces. Jaymi Senn had three blocks and three kills. 


Highmore-Harrold 3, Sunshine Bible Academy 1

MILLER — Highmore-Harrold picked up a four set win over Sunshine Bible Academy in high school volleyball action Tuesday. Set scores were 14-25, 25-20, 25-8 and 25-12. 

Leading the way for Highmore-Harrold was Kendall Cermak who finished with five aces, 11 kills and two blocks. Brooklyn Baloun dished out 19 set assists and also had five aces. Addison McDonnell had 14 kills and a block for Highmore-Harrold. 

Leaders for Sunshine Bibler were Sadie Konechne with six kills, Lydia Lo with four aces, Betra Amare with three assists, Abby Hinman with three blocks. 



Avon 3, Tripp-Delmont/Armour 1

TRIPP — Avon picked up a four-set high school volleyball win over Tripp-Delmont/Armour on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-21, 25-16, 21-25 and 25-21.

Avon’s Courtney Sees finished with 18 kills and 19 digs. Lila Vanderlei added one block, nine kills and 13 digs. Jordyn Voigt had 16 digs, while McKenna Kocmich posted 36 assists. Macy Voigt added three aces. Kaeli Wallinga added a block. 

For TDA, Megan Reiner recorded eight kills, 13 digs and four blocks. Lori DeCora added 15 digs, while Kinley Spaans posted seven kills. Mia Reiner posted four blocks and Morgan Gemar had 23 assists. 


Dakota Valley 3, Beresford 0

NORTH SIOUX CITY — Class A No. 2 Dakota Valley rolled to a straight set victory over Beresford in Tuesday night volleyball action. Set scores were 25-10, 25-20 and 25-17.

The Panthers were led by Sophie Tuttle who had 13 kills, 12 digs and four aces. Jaycee Squire dished out 17 assists to go along with five digs and an ace. Claire Munsch added nine kills and six digs while Bria Perryman had ten set assists, five digs and three aces. 

Keely Merrigam led Beresford with three kills while Abby Umoges led with eight digs. Uly Sivert had three kills for Beresford.


Sioux Falls Christian 3, Madison 0

SIOUX FALLS — Class A No. 1 Sioux Falls Christian swept Madison in straight sets in high school volleyball action Tuesday. Set scores were 25-23, 25-10 and 25-23. 

The Chargers were paced by Katelyn Moss and Sidney Oostra who both had 10 kills. Addison Barber dished out 34 set assists and led the Chargers with nine digs and two aces. Lavin Maddox added nine kills while Maggie Keepers finished with seven digs.
Audrey Nelson led Madison with 14 kills, three block assists and two solo blocks. Karley Theede handed out 24 set assists. 


Aberdeen Roncalli 3, Florence-Henry 0

FLORENCE — Aberdeen Roncalli swept Florence-Henry in straight sets in Tuesday night high school volleyball action. 

The Aberdeen Roncalli attack was led by Ava Hanson and Jaidyn Feickert who combined for 27 kills. McKenna O’Keefe finished with two aces and 10 digs. Camryn Bain led the team with 19 digs while Maddie Huber had two kills and 11 assists. 

Florence-Henry was led by Caylin Kelly who finished with eight kills, 18 digs, two blocks and two aces. Kyra Tschakert led with four blocks while Kate Hulscher had two blocks. 


Flandreau 3, Deubrook Area 0

WHITE — The Flandreau girls earned a straight set sweep over Deubrook Area in high school volleyball action Tuesday. Set scores were 25-23, 25-14 and 25-18.

The Flandreau girls were paced by Claire Seppard who had 15 kills, eight blocks and two aces. Lizzy Pavlis and Lilly Klein both had eight kills for Flandreau while Klein led the team with 24 digs. Abby Schoeberl led Flandreau with 24 set assists. 

Hannah Kielden and Matte Banman combined for 11 kills to lead Deubrook Area. Delaney Pederson led with nine digs while Carly Engelsted posted five digs and an ace.


Freeman 3, Centerville 1

FREEMAN — Freeman picked up a four-set high school volleyball match against Centerville on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-20, 27-25, 21-25 and 25-18.

Freeman’s Ashlin Jacobsen finished with 14 kills and 12 digs. Ella Waltner added 12 kills and four digs. Zenovia Butler logged 10 kills and 14 digs. Emily Mendel posted five kills, 13 digs and two aces. Vaida Ammann recorded 20 assists and seven digs. Cami Fransen posted 20 assists, 11 digs, five aces and three kills. Rylee Peters recorded three digs and three kills. 

For Centerville, Thea Gust posted eight kills and 14 digs. Lillie Eide recorded six kills and 10 digs. Emma Marshall posted seven kills and 13 digs. Tessa Eide added nine digs and two aces. Haley Childress tallied seven assists. 


Canistota 3, Viborg-Hurley 0

VIBORG — Canistota swept Viborg-Hurley in a Tuesday high school volleyball match. The set scores were 25-17, 25-12 and 25-19.

Canistota’s Ember Schenkel recorded 12 kills, four digs and two aces. Natalee Hofer added 24 assists, 16 digs, four kills and two aces. Sierra McGregor posted nine kills and three blocks. Bailey Spicer finished with five assists. Natalie Becker finished with 20 digs, while Kayla Papendick posted 10 digs. 

For Viborg-Hurley, Addy Huth recorded four kills and five digs. Charley Nelson added 25 digs, while Aubree Schwartz logged 11 digs and two kills. Mataya Vannorsdel logged six assists and eight digs. 


De Smet 3, Deuel 1

DEUEL — De Smet picked up a four-set win over Deuel in high school volleyball action Tuesday night. Set scores were 25-19, 25-20, 16-25 and 25-17.

De Smet was fueled by a big night from Hazel Luethmers who finished with 21 kills, four blocks and three aces. Megan Dylla and Alyssa Asleson combined for 29 set assists. Asleson led the defense with 11 digs while Mirra Beck and Brooke Jennings combined for 19 digs. 

Deuel’s Josie Andersen had a big night posting eight kills, 13 assists and 14 digs. Emma Sattler led in blocks with 2.5 while Ella Kerkvliet led with 15 digs. 

 

Rapid City Christian 3, Spearfish 0

RAPID CITY — Rapid City Christian swept Spearfish in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-21, 25-17 and 25-23.

Rapid City Christian’s Ana Egge finished with 12 kills and three blocks. Lydia Williams added seven kills, while Faith King posted five kills, two aces and 18 assists. Kendall Glassbrenner logged two aces and five kills. Moriah Coyle added 10 assists. 

Spearfish stats were not reported.


Elk Point-Jefferson 3, West Central 1

HARTFORD — Elk Point-Jefferson topped West Central in a four-set high school volleyball match on Tuesday. The set scores were 26-24, 25-18, 25-27 and 25-18.

West Central’s Addison Meadors recorded 14 kills, while Maddy Ingalls added seven kills. Ellie Lienhard recorded 35 assists. Jocelyn Nilson and Avery Nothdurth had 43 and 21 digs, respectively. Landry Heath and Cambree Ideker had two aces apiece. 

Elk Point-Jefferson stats were not reported. 


Pierre 3, Mitchell 1

MITCHELL — The Pierre picked up a win over Mitchell Tuesday in a match that went four sets. Set scores were 25-18, 19-25, 25-15 and 25-20.

Governor hitters Abby Kropp (14 kills) and Reese Terwilliger (12 kills) led the attack. Elly Broeri finished with five aces while Lainey Reinke had three aces and 12 digs. Aleise Christopherson dished out 36 set assists for Pierre.

Mitchell’s Sawyer Stoebner finished with 12 kills while Hope Flippin had eight kills. Addie Siemsen finished with 33 set assists and 10 digs. 


Sioux Falls Lincoln 3, Brandon Valley 2

BRANDON — Class AA No. 5 Sioux Falls Lincoln edged Brandon Valley in a five-set high school volleyball match on Tuesday. The set scores were 21-25, 12-25, 25-20, 25-21 and 15-10.

Brandon Valley’s Jayaunna Stroh finished with 12 kills and three aces. Kennedi Boomsma added 11 kills and four blocks. Sydney Benson posted 25 digs, while Riya Sheley added 35 assists, 10 digs and four aces. Abby Gruber had four blocks and Lexi Gawarecki had three aces. 

Sioux Falls Lincoln stats were not reported.
