A monster showdown in Rapid City over the weekend as many of the Class A wrestling teams in South Dakota attended the Rapid City Invitational. Pierre won that tournament but the Sturgis wrestling team remains the No. 1 ranked Class A team in the state. Brandon Valley finished 4th in the Council Bluffs Iowa tournament over the weekend. 

The Scoopers received 177 points followed by Pierre (173) and Brandon Valley (157).  Watertown (156) and Tea Area (122) round out the top-five teams.
